As someone who out of no where started to suffer with contact dermatitis on my hands and feet, i started using e45. I fount that the product actually contributed to thinning my skin, making my hands extremely sore, sensitive to warm water and making flare ups more frequent/severe. I chucked away all of the e45 and epaderm i brought. Now i use the Dove sensitive hypoallergenic wash and natural KTC almond oil to moisturise my body overall. sometimes i use the O'Keeffe hand cream/footcream or vaseline to lock in extra moisture and i barely have any flare ups now. Its taken a few months for my skin to not feel as sore, although it still seems thinner in certain areas. Im hoping in time that it improves. Im convinced alot of these companies actually make products that can put your skin in a worse condition as time goes on so you feel reliant on their products. I've always believed that there are natural remedies out there to help cure many issues but obviously companies won't say that because they'll lose money.
@leodelicious86526 күн бұрын
True. I use good old coconut sheabutter and olive oil. Skin tight moisture locked. 😅
@x.trisha26 күн бұрын
@leodelicious865 I completely forgot I wrote this comment but just incase anyone wanted a update, I managed to find a routine/products that suit me. I stick to using the Simple soap, then Dove Pro Age lotion or body butter to moisturise ( and a thick Nivea moisturizer for my hands as they still can get quite dry) then seal it in with a natural oil like almond oil. I also ensure I use appropriate cleaning gloves (the chunky yellow ones ) whenever my skin could be in contact with cleaning products, such as washing up liquid, bleach, Zoflora. I've also had to stop using hand sanitizer and becareful of hand washes that maybe in public toilets. Most times I try to make sure I have my own such as the Simple ones as I know overall my skin reacts well with that brand. My skin is nowhere near as sensitive and my hands aren't in agony anymore when they come into contact with warm water. Thankfully the skin on my hands isn't as thin as it was and I have seen a noticeable improvement with the wrinkles I was getting due to the skin thinning. I still believe if I would have continued with the prescribed products it would have contributed to worsening my skin. Hope this helps!

From my experience Palmers does have a beautiful line of skincare products that clearly list things like : No Parabens , No Sulfates, No Mineral Oil, No Gluten , No Phthalates,& No Dyes. I especially love their night cream with retinol!!! With constant nightly use,saw a big difference aft just one week. So, while the ones listed here may not be great others in the line are Fantastic!! -Just my experience. Love Palmers ❤

I actually find true the contrary. I go for fragrance free mostly because they give me nausea. But when I put products with fragrance (only to regret my decision) all the different fragrance mix into a mixture that is not always good. I avoid as many strong scents and just put perfume after.

How weird, I found e45 to be the least moisturising for my skin, and it even irritated my daughters skin so badly it caused burns on her face, she must have been allergic to an ingredient. The best general moisturiser I've found is palmers, if you put the oil on damp skin then the cream your skin will stay hydrated all day. Of course some people might react differently or be against some of the ingredients but I've used all sorts of moisturisers ranging in cost and it's the best by far

Yes, God is close to us and is our friend but we've to also remember that He is Holy and Divine and deserves our utmost respect. Before I was saved I used to take His Name in vain too without realizing the consequences but thanks be to Jesus Christ who has changed the way I look at God ( His Majesty and Holiness) that made me realize this sin I had committed. Bio Oil rescued my daughter's skin. 10/10 over here.

I love the Vaseline products. It’s the only thing that works for my eczema. I’m allergic to lanolin - so those are a huge no for me.

Agreed. I actually use this same vaseline she trashed and it works for me. Additionally, E45 is very pricey, and I like to stick to my budget. My daughter has terrible eczema ( flaky, scaly, discoloration etc. ) and even E45 did NOT work for her. She uses the Aveeno eczema cream and her skin looks and feels amazing.

@@itsme_shanti can i ask how much the E45 is? I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in my local store. Just out of curiosity

@@sushi.pop.purple I live in the Caribbean. Not sure where you reside but the price will still be different. E45 is either UK or European made, so it will be pricey in the US as well

@@itsme_shanti i live in Canada. Thank you so much for your reply! It seems pricey to be honest.

I would give Bio oil 10/10... it has been a miracle worker and a staple in 'body' (not face) skincare routine for over 8 years.

Idk, but I do know during my pregnancy with twins I slathered all the Palmers and it was good to me. But I catch her drift. Now I feel a little compelled to try this E45 after all those terrible ratings.

I've used most of these in the past. Explains why my eczema would always flat afterwards.

Dude the E45 cream costs 200 plus bucks where I am from. But worth it if you have dry skin or eczema. The Bio oil one is surprising. Everyone always recommended it to me.
