In this meditation practice, we will be observing the body from within, scanning the different parts of the body, witnessing the sensations of the body, and allowing ourselves to have a deep awareness of the physical body as a whole.
This practice can be done sitting down or laying down, though it may be more comfortable to lay down if you are not firmly established in your seated posture, as this practice is a bit longer (27 minutes).
May this observation of the body support you in having a deeper awareness of your physical body, and may it help you to consciously relax the body, so you may feel at ease in the body, and so you may use your mindfulness of the body as a tool for cultivating peace in the here and now.
