@@shirleysue228 I just use my secret weapon app for cops like this. Text to speech. It slows the pace of high rev’d high energy cops with egos, most of the time. They have to wait until I finish typing, lol. They can’t cuff me or I can’t type to answer their questions, so that tactic fails and I remain hands free and still not a threat as I am disabled as well and not able to move fast enough to be a threat. And since I only ask questions, and refuse to answer theirs, they generally get sick of my game and leave me alone. I have been threatened but no one has dared to make an arrest on a homeless disabled person who knows his rights, in over 8 years of dealing with them. They are all younger than me and are poorly trained about our laws. It’s not that I want a cop to violate my rights, it’s more that I want them exposed and retrained so they stop treating anyone not in a uniform, as the enemy. I’m old enough to remember when they were logical, rational, and didn’t lie. They started our distrust by lying for traffic stops, so we had to protect ourselves with cameras, then they didn’t like being caught in a lie and started hiding, stealing and using evidence stored in evidence rooms, writing false narratives, and lying to judges, which we then had to make them wear body cameras to protect us from their lies. Then they started cuffing anyone “for officer safety” bull. Just to intimidate and show authority. And if you are black or brown or white and poor and mouthy, you will get beat and they will do it as a gang. I’ve seen it out here. The KZbin videos don’t show half of what really happens out here. I have met a few good cops who actually check on me to see if I’m ok. But more often than not it is the one’s that think they are my parents that approach me for no reason and then try to demand ID and then order me around like I am their toddler. I have never complied yet and explain the laws, but usually they just leave before they get to pushy as I am not able to argue back quick enough for their needs. I am not fun fir them so they go find any person they can bully. To me, a human is not a real human until they can admit fault and apologize. Then they are a full fledged human. Without that you don’t have the ability to respect others. I know this is long. But Thought this information about my app would enlighten you, that there are other ways to deal with controlling a conversation. I had a stroke and now have aphasia so oral communication just makes me sound like a drunken Yoda, lol Words get mixed up and slurring is too annoying to deal with, so I use the app. If I were training cops, I would set a trap that makes it so they are at fault at anything, even a small thing that could be just a misunderstanding. If they show any signs of narcissism (not accepting blame or uses attempts to justify their actions or words) during this test as observed by a certified professional, they will not be allowed to be a cop. It should be a secret test and slipped in somewhere during training. I’m not saying we need a bunch of cops that run around saying sheepishly that they are sorry all the time. That would be pathetic. Just that when they do make an error they act like humans and admit it, learn how to do it differently and then apologize to those you wronged. The same things we teach our kids. But they are not ready for that, yet. So I just use my app and they hate that and go away so I can enjoy my day.

Personal threats like that being an exception, anyone who carries a gun and can lock someone in a cage as part of their job should be able to control their emotions and behavior 100% during the hours of the day that they are on the clock getting paid. And should be able to follow a very clear and simple department policy, no exceptions. Im all for second and even third chances when someone can understand what they've done wrong--but beyond that, they are simply not fit for the role. I know it's not an easy job, but there's a lot of jobs that aren't, and plenty of cops that have no problem controlling themselves while on the job. Until cops like this slowly start to corrupt them and their whole departments without them even realizing it. I'm confident that getting rid of these bad apples, even if it meant firing or finding a different role for 75% of them, it would improve just about every aspect of law enforcement, policing, and police/community relations. How are we still seeing so many of these videos in this day and age of body cams and KZbin.

Notice his body cam wasn’t on in the beginning, and when asked by IA why his wasn’t on, first he said he doesn’t always remember to turn his body cam on, then said the battery was dead. That says he fails to “remember” to turn his body cam on a lot (while he’s breaking laws, making illegal traffic stops, and planting drugs, etc.). Body cams not only help to protect citizens from dirty cops, they also help to protect good cops from any fraudulent and false claims made by citizens against cops who followed procedures and did nothing illegal or wrong.

The whole "I smell weed" excuse is probably the most abused one for cops to search people
@ajjacobs71853 жыл бұрын

Veteran cop here. I’ve busted a lot of very bad people based on the smell of weed. Turns out that, while not every person who smokes weed is a criminal, almost all criminals smoke weed.

@@shindrithargriethrat8408 True, former policeman here too. The problem with this guy is he forgot that smelling weed in a VEHICLE is probable cause for a search, but smelling it on a PERSON is not. But you are right about weed leading to bigger things. No one, no law, no constitutional right will ever stop this cop from doing whatever he wants to do. His fellow officer's on the scene are just as culpable as he is and should be fired. I hope the victim does file a Federal Law Suit. Thank You for these videos very informative.
@NewYorkCity17182 жыл бұрын
Thank god they removed him as an officer, you can tell just by his attitude and the way he speaks to his higher ups that he’s too dangerous to be in the streets. He will definitely violate people’s rights just to try and get an arrest
@owenprince48232 жыл бұрын
You say he will violate, I say he already has and many many times and justified it by claiming that he could smell something ( on a black man) but in this video he admitted to tossing evidence of cocaine that a "white" kid had on him. He has cocaine in his cop car yet will strip search a innocent victim because he claimed to smell weed. The best way to deal with these scumbags is to call a lawyer and three friends to show up at the car and have them testify that there is NO smell of any drugs so you will have witnesses that the cop is using a lie to build his arrest record. He kept talking about how many people he arrested but did not care that they were all unlawful arrests. There are videos of cops arresting innocent people because the cop claim the person is impaired by weed when the little old lady had never smoked any drugs in her life. They need to stop this bullshit about a cop can smell something and that gives them the ok to search your car and your ass without your lawyer present because that is guilty until proven innocent. Always request the supervisor and your lawyer as soon and these dumb ass criminal cops stop you. Call them before the cop gets to your window as they will not let you use your phone once they get to your door. A cop stop is a mini trial that you have no representation so always remain silent until your lawyer and his boss get there so you can have a fair trial. A cop stop is trial by cop and they are not your friend.
