Amour is actually a french word for love, and the song describes how it goes, from being amazing to being... not so amazing, but it grabs you "with its teeth" and in the end, one or the other way, "all that's left is pain".

Till Lindemann once said in an interview, he had wanted this song as a duet, singing the chorus together with a female singer, but others didn't want a duet.

He should do this as a duet. It would be epic. Maybe he should consider it with Zazz.

This is one of my favourite Rammstein songs. I love Till's voice on this song and the way it starts off quiet and then builds up. I would love to see a live version though. That would be amazing.

On 9-30-2004 Amour was played live for the first time at a private event. On 11-1-2004. The only public show where Amour was played outside of the private/fan club as well as the last time Amour was ever performed live.

Till Lindemann is a herorran poet, he has also written several books of poetry. His father was also a famous children's book author in Germany. Hence this talent for Rammstein's lyrics. I would bet Rammstein would never be so profound with the lyrics without Till Lindemann!!!! Make a reaction from "Rosenrot" great music video 😍

"Amour" is French the language of love! Fun fact: There is a song lyric analysis in which it is determined which words Rammstein uses most often in the songs. It's hard to believe, but it's the word "love". The second most common is "heart".

I thought „cold“ would be up there as well..

@@acidgravy1 No "cold" is further down the list. If you are interested in it then search for the article "Rammstein: Was in den Lyrics versteckt ist" (Rammstein: What is hidden in the lyrics).

Hello, thank you for your fine reactions to the Rammstein songs. I tend more to the old performances from 1996-1998 etc. My urgent recommendations are: 'Spiel mit mir' (Philipshalle Düsseldorf) 'Sehnsucht' (Berlin Wuhlheide 1998) 'Der Meister' (Live 1996-1997) 'Laichzeit' (Live at Bizarre Festival 1996) 'Asche zu Asche' (Live 1997) All the best to you!!

Amur means love in Italian. It means Liebe in German
@andreagruber58132 жыл бұрын
No, the Italian word is "Amore". Trust me, I know that language, not as fluent as in English, but it is good enough to know that (had it three years in school). Amour is French. Amor in Spanish.
