So hard to deload when you love being in the gym. I do like the cutting volume however. Personally, my gym time is my happy time. 37 years of training and I still get excited to get to the gym and go into beast mode.

I wish I had a gym like ultra flex near me. I also like the fact the kuba passes his knowledge to beginners, intermediate and elite. If I’m ever in Rotherham , I’ll have to bang a session in ultra flex. Thanks kuba!

i’m one of those people who never get deload weeks or day! during times i’ve simply adjust my volume and split in such a way that i can manage fatigue and not need a deload time (or at least.. this is what i think and perceive). Do tou think this to have some sense or do you think everyone NEED a deload period - at least just to resensitize your body to training stimulus and to drop off fatigue?? cause actually… i’m having hard times in improving performance in the gym; lacking of a deload period could be one of the cause for this?

Kuba ….. I’ve been off cycle for about 7 weeks now ,just on trt @ 150mg test E per week however managed to put a little size on and maintain strength but last couple of weeks I’m really feeling it as my coach has put me on to phase 3 after our most recent de load which was three weeks ago . Bloods have just been done and are spot on .I don’t want another deload so quick so my guess is to start new cycle yes ? Then de load even when in middle of cycle when I know I will be feeling amazing . Your thoughts would be appreciated

Deload when you feel like you need it. If you feel good don’t Deload. Take it when it’s needed or you are just cutting your progress short

Great vid Kuba, been running full volume for about 4 months straight now 😬 (natural), feeling flat, lethargic, no weight gain despite increasing cals. Going to take 3 days off then 6 sessions after at 50% volume as you recommended. During this time should I keep diet and steps (8-9000 per day) as normal? Cheers

Of course you need to deload from bodybuilding. From a former competitive powerlifter I can tell you the fatigue build up is a lot higher with bb training unless you're training like a wet fanny
