Following the questions from episode 1, I wanted to clarify exactly what I am eating in a day and a basic way of going about bulking using bodyweight training. In this full day of eating trying to build muscle and lean bulk, I compare how many meals a day, how much protein and rough training protocol.

I always thought bulking was so complicated, being a somewhat skinny guy has always bugged me. I just recently healed from health issues and I wanna get into bulking but in a healthier way without stuffing my face with bad food. You made it so simple for me to understand, i have a learning disability and you made it so easy. I just wanna say thank you😀😁

Ive been doing bodyweight training for some years now focusing on staying light, lean, and having endurance. Ive recently just changed gears to start training for my first strongman show so I’m aggressively bulking as well. Its nice to have someone ive been watching for so long on the same kick.

Interesting video and very refreshing to hear unvarnished information (no sales, no unrealistic hype etc etc). Would enjoy recipe/cooking videos -- maybe some favorite Crockpot meals etc. I'm guessing that the spectacles you were wearing are blue light blocking, aimed at improving sleep. Thumbs up!! Also, I can't imagine how much work it is to film yourself at the gym -- setting up getting the shot, going to the next exercise, setting up... over and over.

I know you've made videos regarding warming up in the past, but I'd like to see how you approach it nowadays. My experiences dealing in this special "home": Any medications can dissolve in water, with varies dosages according to expose skin surface areas (i.e. hand washing, or shower the whole body), which cause different problems according to your stage of life (e.g. children have skin allergy, old age has dementia), which seems "normal" and well accepted by all nations. Electronic devices in home can detect any noises in your home or watch your daily habit in home. These quacks know who is having shower then they mix special "cocktail" in water. Also "provide" different medications in the sink water at different time of the day. To be specific, in the morning after meal, the quack mix laxative in sink water, so u poo before u fully absorb. Or add iron to cause constipation for ppl cant walk well or wheel chair bound. At night, the quack mix diuretic in sink water, so u pee more at night which cause tight joints and pain, thus poor sleeping quality. Any illnesses develop over time under problematic water, depend on what medication you expose to. Men may be shower under chemotherapy medications and their common side effect is hair lost. May be it is worth to test your blood any chemo drugs in it? Men are bread winner. Kill men first, then mock widows and children is a piece of cake. God care so much His widows and orphans. His water give life but u quacks turn water in all nation just like Indian rivers. Many children born in India are deformed. U quacks should be burn forever and ever in the name of Jesus and many loving daddies. Thank you for abusing me, if not i would not know your evil traps to man kind. U assess me and i also assess u. I m so ready to die but everything that is hidden will be disclosed in His name. In revelation u quacks blood and flesh will be eaten by His ppl. Oh... poor u

Hi Tom! Really like your Videos. I am always struggling with both the concepts of bulking and cutting because they seem to trigger a deep problem I have with my body perception (really something that has developed in a "mild" body dismorphic disorder). As a once Skinny fat guy whos got fit with sports and resistance training I still see myself as fat. I am aware that I am fitter and leaner than average, but with a bodyfat percentage between 15-20% (purely estimated on the fact that i cant see my abs all the time) I find myself to have a body i am not happy about. And thats kind of the problem: I see myself both as too fat (in regard of BF %) and too skinny (at 188 cm with around 80 kg I am pretty long and thin). So I am both scared of putting on weight and loosign it (with the risk of loosing that small muscle mass I have). That has also negative impacts on my training, especially forcing me to train when tired and not listening to my body (but instead listening to te ill voice in my head telling me: more is better), wich leads to overtraining injuries and so on... Have you ever struggled with body image problems? How to find a balance between fitness ambition and a more natural relation to body and nutrition? Would love to hear your thoughts about that.

Hey Tom, when did you past try having 3 meals? I would find 2 would leave too long between eating for me. Even if it was having 2 whopper meals. Each to their own though as you say. I noticed you tend to only eat savoury foods. Do you eat any fruit etc as snacks? Good micronutrients and vitamins in there too

There are pros and cons of both 1 or 2 meals a day and 4 or 6 meals a day. It all comes down to what feels best for you. Few meals per day can be hard until your body adjusts to the pattern. There are many positive health effects of fasted states, however if bulking is your goal, you are more or less sacrificing a bit of health for performance. Nutrition is very much a give and take.

I think you will gain a little bit more muscle and still be leaner all year long with maingaining then with bulking & cutting, but that is just my opinion
@GhostInspired
@GhostInspired 2 жыл бұрын
If you are in a surplus.. you will gain muscle by training hypertrophy/strength/combination of both. If you are in too high of a surplus you will mostly gain fat. No point trying to gain weight fast by just eating more. Even a 100 calorie surplus is plenty. Just make sure you are training harder than last time and you'll gain eventually.

It doesn't really matter what you eat, you just need to be in a (slight) caloric deficit. Though the areas where your body stores more or less fat are determined by genetics, so you might have to be at a very low and possibly not maintanable body fat percentage to have visible abs for example.
