This was the same route as Flight 11 right? What is the flight number now?

Same depature and destination airport, same take off runway and nearly the same plane-type as United 175 had, back on that sunny september morning in 2001...scary

@BirdNerd1073 The route sees a mix of 737 and 757 equipment, although a 767 is used from time to time. Currently flights 145/222 are operating with a 767 through April 2nd.

@BirdNerd1073 If its over booked sometimes they have to do an equipment change. I was on a flight from ORD-SFO and it was originally a 757, but we got a 767, and it was a full flight.

That raggeddy sound is the front fans of the motor chopping up air as it pushes it toward the compressor

Awesome awesome video! This is one of my favorite views of the wing and engine. Nice steady camera work and a wonderful engine sound.

But the fact that the first plane to hit the WTC was an American Airline 767, took off from Boston and was heading to Los Angeles (LAX) is a bit surreal and scary...

what are all those sounds from the engine? since 2:00
@TommyFenstermacher515011 жыл бұрын
The loud sounds happen during takeoff, once the plane is at altitude, it tends to be much quieter.

I dont mean to sound rude but thats a really dumb coment. American airlines were'nt the only planes hijacked on 9/11 United Airlines flights were also taken over and crashed also both airlines had no idea 9-11 was going to happen so you really cant blame them.

I JUST LOVE THE WAY THIS PLANE HAS PASSENGERS ON IT AND IT HAS PLENTY OF GAS IN THE PLANE AND NOW IT IS GETTING ON THE RUNWAY AND IS GETTING READY TO TAKEOFF UP INTO THE SKY TO FIND THE NEXT AIRPORT AND LAND AT THE NEXT AIRPORT AND PARKED AT THE GATE AND GET PLENTY OF GAS IN THE PLANE AND THEN IT CAN TAKEOFF AGAIN
