Passengers aboard the now infamous Alaska flight 1282 can expect a challenge to lawsuits after both Boeing and Alaska Airlines have filed court documents disavowing liability. According to a report by a Washington DC area newspaper, both the plane manufacturer and the airline that operated the defective aircraft are denying legal responsibility for the incident.

Boeing can neither accept responsibility for the bolts being missing nor provide evidence to NTSB that they installed the bolts. Why are their planes being allowed to transport anyone today?
@Rasscasse

It’s a good question. Maybe they should be inhibited from flying the Max, unless Boeing can supply the information and documentation requested by NTSB and Congress. That would provide some motivation.
