It really is a stunning model with impressive size even in 1/144 scale. The build is "easy" in terms of fit and parts quality, no doubt, but eight engines, eight wheels, 45 bombs etc. will take their time to be completed. 😄 Also painting and handling the model can be a bit challenging due to its size. 🙂 Thanks for watching! Great Video! Where do you buy the 1/144 models!? I'm having a hard time finding good models of that scale.

I actually get these models from the usual sources where I also buy other modeling supplies, i.e. local hobby shops, online shops or sometimes even Amazon. Before choosing a new model that could be interesting for me I usually check online resources like KZbin, Scalemates or other websites, forums etc. to gather information about quality, fit, possible issues and so on. @@RWOModels Well residing in Albania I have limited options when it comes to purchasing (except China and some models on ebay) Amazon it has a very expensive delivery and miniature shops are not a thing here. I really miss the miniature shops from Germany... It was like finding a gate to heaven there... All sort of miniatures, all scales possible! I'm into making a special game around 12mm or 28mm and I'm having a hard time to complete the collection. Also it is impossible to find Destroyers or Frigates on that scale so I'm taking the time to build one from scratch. I will use wood and resin and a ship on that scale goes over 1m in length but we'll worth it! Greetings from Albania and keep up the good work!

That sounds like a really cool project you are working on! Too bad it's so difficult for you to find the required models in your country. There are certainly a couple of excellent shops here in Germany but they are on the decline as well due to all those cheaper online shops and the strong "competition" from China. @@RWOModels I can't imagine Germany as not part of the global miniatures strongholds. The passion for the hobby lives through people, not at the cheapest denominator. Europe has seen worse, it will survive as long as her people survive.

Thanks for sharing this. Question, are these kits comparable to a Tamiya kit as far as engineering and fit? I'm asking because I have no history with this brand but that kit looks really awesome. Engineering, fit, details and overall quality of the kit are just excellent. I have almost completed the build, and I can definitely recommend checking this kit out if you are interested.
