I bet everyone onboard the iss were already in their emergency pods incase anything happened, even the other 2 however they planned to secure them on the floor. Maybe running a “just incase drill” and if shit goes wrong this is it type situation. Because you don’t have much time to react if something were to go wrong during the release of starliner

Watching from NZ. I don't think that Boeing will have a problem achieving 6 missions TO the ISS as contracted. It's the getting BACK part that seems to be more problematical! As long as the orbit is not decaying I don't understand why NASA is in such a rush to de-commission the ISS. Or is this a tacit recognition that the future of space travel/exploration/exploitation no longer belongs to governmental agencies?
