In 1992 they began airing on KPDX Portland and then they move to KWBP in 1994. In 1995 they began airing on 22 Network One affiliates. In 1997 Network One shut down and the service moved to KOIN and in 2001, the service moved back to Phoenix, airing on KASW, then in 2002, moved to KPHO-TV. In 2003 they got their own station, KPHE-LP, at the time broadcasting on channel 19 in Mesa, Arizona, and changed their name to Bohemia Visual Music. KPHE moved to channel 44 in Phoenix in 2005.[2] Bohemia Visual Music changed their name to 24-7 Videos for a few months from mid-2005 to early-2006, then reverted to Bohemia Visual Music.

He is the serious one!!! He’s like the dad of the group. But he’s also really goofy and child-like in moments. Like he Nona tapes, “Look! It’s a man in the box” when he steps into the box. They all matured a lot. Lightened up in a way too. Their early days seemed very confused and heavy. Rip Layne, Starr, Demri.

they were Central Tavern, house parties, shooting pool at Brick Street, Queen Anne, that fashion show in Lynnwood Mike S was at. Sean drove my car once spinning wheelies in the parking lot, and once I drove Jerry home where he was staying in Rainier Ave or smth at his managers Kelly Curtis n whole way there he was irritable cos he was afraid to wake Kelly up. At one house party after practice Layne was tryna get in the shower n on his way in i was asking him if he wanted to go to the ballet n he said oh my sisters in ballet.... blah blah yea. real shit. real

Morbid4ny--I say Layne uses a lot of reverse negative metaphors to make a point. In this case, I say the subject was about the band, KORN and a fight, even though Korn may have been reported as having formed in 1993---time makes no difference and is an illusion=a measurement of pain..

Lol at the Washingtonian referenced inside joke Jerry told @1:16 about “Western State”. Western state is locally infamous mental health hospital, in WA. That holds some of the most dangerous and extremely mental ill people in the state. As well as, people who the less severely mentally ill. Its been around since 1871, their most famous patient was the actress frances farmer. Most will know her from being referenced in the title of a Nirvana song from the In Utero album. But thought i would share for those unaware of the reference Jerry was making.

We were as close to the stage as humanly possible and you could feel Laynes voice. I don't know how to describe it other than like that, his voice was huge & powerful. Mark Lanegan has said the same thing on interviews about Laynes voice. Man, it was an amazing show by amazing musicians & it started my love of all things AIC & Layne Staley. In this Cable Access TV show in February’91 AIC looked so happy and Layne was still sparkly! It’s tragic to see what happened to him because of drugs. In ‘91, the only Kardashian wasting space on TV was Robert Kardashian Sr., who was O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. It’s amazing how many people are just in our faces today because of their parents. Layne and the boys would have hated it! Love These guys!

Warren Pellacani well you tell those people how AIC went to open for Ozzy and Iggy AND KISS, while Soundgarden and Nirvana were still just trying to hold it together to make an album. Also, AIC LITERALLY refined the word “alternative rock” (coined by radio stations and Labels) in the early 90’s. They SLAYED Thrash Metal and Hair Metal. Topped their charts and made them change the way they played and toured altogether... Might I mention WHILE AIC was touring with them. 👍🏻😀

Am I the only one that remembers "Bohemia After Dark"? They showcased local alternative rock. I would have been a loyal viewer if it was easier to find.

Dr. Mike: (auscultating layne's heart) This man's bladder is on the fritz Layne: I think it's my femur doc. i love that part (and in general their absurd humor) from 3:00 until 3:20 and then Mike ''check 1, 2, check''

No shit, Jerry kinda takes over at one point and saves us a couple more agonizing questions. The interviewer sounds he just got shot up with novicaine.

Fuck! I miss this band in this incarnation. Death sucks. I love AIC they were the best 90s band bar none. They were the Zeppelin of that time. Darker but reflective. Would give anything to watch an AIC show with Layne in his prime.
