Yeah, I'm pretty sure replay files have always been broken in that way for a long time. If you dial in a rudder setting with the Q or E keys, but then negate it with the A or D keys, the reply doesn't record that negation. It's something stupid that, for whatever reason, WG has not fixed.

I feel like the most overpowered thing about this ship is that you can heal as many times as you want, so no matter how stupid you are, so long as you duck back behind an island and use that heal, you will rarely be reduced to nothing in the same way as a battleship. I love your content, Jingles, for two reasons; One, it's enjoyable to hear your commentary, and Two, it reminds me all too well why I left WOWS and WOT for the (if not perfect, then at least playable) experience that is War Thunder.

I recently watched the old Battlefield document series episode about the Mediterranean, and boy is it a true statement that Malta earned and deserved every medal and honor it got after the trials it went through. Fun fact: after Italy surrendered and switched sides in WW2, the Italian Navy's main force actually sailed to port in Malta. Considering that same navy withn help from the Luftwaffe and Italian air force had failed to cripple Malta, I can see why the Maltese took some satisfaction/pride in that gesture....

If you want a high dpm cruiser I play the radar Minotaur also got the relode down to 1.2 seconds in arms race. And 260k damage and around 6 kills But don’t have the replay though.

Imagine guys, we could have had basically this at T8 if CCs hadn't bitched that San Diego was going to be "underpowered". The original San Diego was going to have Atlanta's gun count, an 8.5 second stock reload, HE and SAP, and this exact same consumable loadout minus the repair party. At T8. The only major difference between what San Diego was going to be and Austen is in the torpedoes, Sandy only got/gets Atlanta's/Omaha's/Phoenix's 4.5km torpedoes. Now what we are getting is a ship with SAP and AP, only 2 charges of a MBRB that is only active for 15 seconds and takes 180 seconds to reload, though it does have a 5 second stock reload(unless that changed since I last looked at the dev blog) so better DPM without the MBRB running, but it loses the main huge burst damage that Austin gets. Oh but her defensive AA fire is the one found on American DDs, so her AA will be okay. Still not as good as people want AA to be because they don't understand game balance, but good enough to make most T8 CVs that know better avoid you. Seeing as with the DefAA running she will have effectively 336 long range AA, and 182 mid range AA. I'm honestly a bit bummed that we aren't getting the original San Diego. As I actually liked the idea of it, but we will never get to see her in action like that, now she's just Atlanta minus the radar but actually able to do something with it's guns against T8+ ships.

Not having a radar is actually *super* beneficial, especially in a light cruiser. Because it means your team won't expect you to push up and die to radar while they hide behind islands.
