hello sir. i am a great fan of urs but i have one point , bohr model came in 1913 while neutron was discovered in 1932 , so how come bohr may say that neutron and proton resides in nucleus as you have stated in first point of bohr model.

so please make it clear as you said about the Di excitation of electrons ...like if an electron is present in the third shell and it is its home shells can the electron will lose its energy and will come into the second shell so I didn't get your point sir please explain it

sir you have told that the electron in the first shell is having minimum energy! why?and loosing of energy takes place in electrons or atoms? i mean to say that the electron having the most energy (i.e having the most negative charge ,,power) will be attracted more towards it and hence its presence is near the positive body in the atom.... and you said electrons could be shifted too! how?????

please answer if we suppose that the electrons revolve around the nucleus in a circle of fixed path and fixed velocity, then there will be no random relative motion and electromagnetic waves will not be emitted . this was according to bohr's model of atom but then why was line spectrum observed when light from hydrogen lamp was passed through prism. i mean that if no electromagnetic radiation will be emitted then the light from that hydrogen lamp was also electromagnetic radiation , why was it getting emitted?

It's amazing and easily understandable, but one small problem, Your teaching is absolutely great which helps students learn better but it also stops some students from viewing these kind of videos as it costs. It's good you kept these videos free of cost but other videos costs a little. I read few similar suggestions from other students as well and your answer to that which mentioned about your maintenance. But still I'd like to suggest you to provide videos free of cost to the one who really needs it and cannot pay for it.

Hello Nevil, Monetization is necessary for us to keep on going with our small team and run our organization. The cost of video is kept very nominal. Its there to meet up the production cost, which is mandatory to keep you serving for unlimited time. We need to pay to all faculty, failing this, we could never get the best lectures from the best teachers. Please feel free to get in touch in case you have any queries/doubts. @(+91)9826023696, Regards, Priyanka Sharma Social Media Manager.

Electrons are revolving around nucleus in case of Bohr model also, so there is relative motion between particles, so why is it no loosing energy? How can one say that oribits are fixed?
@mehwishnoor2292

cause it emit energy in case of random motion only(according to James clack Maxwell) ...but according to bohr it move in fixed path with fix energy and fix radius so it will not lose energy

how come velocity is fixed? it continuoously changes its position
@RakeshYadav-ol1bz
@RakeshYadav-ol1bz 10 жыл бұрын
Anosh limboo Equation of velocity of electron in an orbit, v =nh/2Pi*m*r .Electrons revolve round the nucleus with definite(fixed in normal language) velocities in concentric circular orbits situated at definite distances from the nucleus.All are constant n,h,2Pi,mass of electron and radii i.e distance thus velocity is constant in that particular orbit,velocity of all electons of that orbit is equal but different from velocity of other orbit electrons inshort depending on value of n

Bohr conceptualized that the electrons revolve in a circular path. But when it could not explain the fine spectrum then Sommerfield gave the concept of elliptical path.
