Boil And Fry Dumplings (Duff) Guyanese Style 🇬🇾

3 cups of flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter
Add water add knead to a dough
Roll of small pieces of dough to 3 inches long
Add to a pot with boiling water
Cook for 5 minutes and strain dumplings
In a pan with butter and grated garlic
Add dumplings and cook until all sides are nice and brown.
Serve with stew salted fish
Enjoy with family and friends

My duff is always fluffy when boiling but when I strain them they 'drop/fall' and I don't know why.
