BSU beat 2 ranked teams in UNLV and WSU. And also outplayed Oregon. They only barely lost to Oregon by a field goal as time expired because odd two lucky kick returns for TD. Ashton Jeanty is the best player in college football

I do not know if they outplayed them but they played them tougher than anyone including Ohio St when you consider the refs took away a obvious Oregon int thus giving Ohio St a free TD and also Oregon just blew two TD's against Ohio St. Boise St is a top ten quality team, if they were in a big four conference with their only loss to Oregon and two top twenty five wins they would be ranked between 6th and 8th.

Boise State should be in the 4th spot. When you technically beat the #1 Team but get cheated by an ejection its tough to win. By the way the NCAA agrees with me and over turned that call. Boise State deserves the #4 spot folks.

I am a diehard BSU fan. But the truth is, we didn’t technically beat Oregon even counting the fallacious Teubner ejection. He would have played no role whatsoever with the two special teams TDs. I highly recommend watching the breakdown of the film for those two TDs on Bronco Nation News with Brad Bidell. BSU players didn’t say in their lanes, they stacked on top of each other creating running lanes which then were well blocked by Oregon. It was undisciplined play by BSU plain and simple on just two plays that lost us that game.

@@rmac9177ya bsu was fine defensively and offensively… special teams killed us. Defensively we got two turnovers and had Dillion Gabriel uncomfortable in the pocket. Boise needs to finish strong though and not worry about them games yet.

Top G5 team is guaranteed a spot so it would be hard to leave BSU out unless Army beats ND or BSU loses their conference championship
