Bokuto's partner, Akaashi, is really perceptive. Even when Kageyama choked on the meat during the barbie, Akaashi quickly gave him water. He is so nice. I really love Bokuto and Akaashi🥹

I’m Japanese born and raised in Japan and i remember how sad i was when we couldn’t make it to National tournaments but the most painful things was to experience my Senpai are leaving the club cuz we didn’t win. Still remember how much i cried and feel depressed to make the upperclass men leave the club.

Bokuto and Kuroo probably reminds Tsukki of his own brother that's why he has an easy rapport with them. And while I find the smartass relationship he has with his own peers in Karasuno hilarious, it's also very refreshing to see him have a softer/little brother type of dynamic with characters from the other teams

Props to you guys, I'm not into any reactor Patreons (I'm broke lol), but you guys are the 1st reactors I've seen in Ytube who noticed at 1st watch that: 1. Ukai's speech about giving it your all and risking a powerful serve, rather than chicken out and give the other side an easy receive... it framed both Asahi & Yamaguchi 2. The 1st yr of Kakugawa team is VERY tall from the picture alone PS. Bokuto's setter is named Akaashi. Bokuto is a 3rd yr, Akaashi is a 2nd yr. I feel like the animated finale will cut a lot of the side stories (that are still canon in the manga like the Lev & Land vs Air "OVAs"), so you might not experience their chemistry on screen as much as you've seen Kuroo-Kenma or Oikawa-Iwaizumi. That's a shame. These 2 have the same situation as Nekoma & Karasuno. Kuroo is a 3rd yr while Kenma is a 2nd yr. Asahi is a 3rd yr while Noya is a 2nd yr. Whether any of our teams win or lose, all the 3rd yrs will graduate. So a lot of the OG pairings will lose their partners in 6 months :( PPS. I personally would give the MVP to Nekomata sensei, the Nekoma coach. He really loves the sport so much that he practically adopted Karasuno. He's not the type to hold special secrets about techniques and strategies. He just wants all the kids to grow their characters and them to have a great vball high school life. That's where Kuroo gets it from - helping your rivals improve too.

i agree. nekomata sensei is so genuine for volleyball to the point he helps karasuno to improve 🥹 and not to mention, takeda sensei who is always give extra effort for the bois improvement like i wish people notice how all people including the sensei and coach take a big part of the journey.

If it wasn’t clear, the top 5/3 they were referring to was the top 5 spikers/hitters in the country. So even if kageyama one day becomes the best all-round player in Japan, he wouldn’t be one of the top 5 aces because of his position as a setter. Although, there is a best setter award, so he could always end up getting that

Even if you go out on a really strong jump serve, and potentially lose the match or the game, You put your all into it already, not only that but if it gets in it'll be much harder for the other team to receive. i wanna know who lost to karasuno in the training camp just because the trash talk from the rival teams would be unmatched (bonus points if one of those teams lost to karasuno after) edit: this is a super inaccurate analogy to explain fukurodani and bokuto's role since volleyball is a team sport, but it's like they're at their 10/10 when it's 1v6 and 9.5/10 when it's 5v6 and the fact they can (unwillingly) switch that up at any time can really throw some teams off
