Atsumu and Osamu are known as the best twins in the high school volleyball scene. Atsumu is the teams setter while Osamu is the teams wing-spiker, Osamu is the rather calmer version of him but don’t be fooled by those two silly interactions since they’re willing to do new moves at any moment. INAZARKI HAS ALSO PLAYED AGAINST SHIRATORIZAWA LAST NATIONALS TOO!!!!

Atsumu isn't so bad you will see he just loves volleyball and is very proud of his skills ^^ and btw a little info the reason why Inarizaki was in front of a shrine at the end and they have those little fox animations is because (Inari) is the god of prosperity and foxes and sometimes appears in the form of a fox, most of the members names are based on different species of foxes except the miya twins their last name means shrine. Also an Inari shrine often has two fox statues "guarding" it, making this a metaphor that the twins are the strongest

Just so you guys know, since it won't be mentionned in the anime, but Kanoka's team is really good, they won the last inter-high and are seed 1 for this tournament. And (minor manga spoiler but it is half a page of the last chapter so who cares?) Kanoka actually goes on to become the ace of Japan's National Team in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. So Tanaka introducing her to the sport of volleyball is THAT important. Just because he treated her properly.

The Inarizaki Twins are a reference from Captain Tsubasa! a very old anime and manga from the 80s about football (or soccer). In one of the matches the protagonist team plays against the Tachibana Twins, a very acrobatic pair who uses jumps and speed as their main tools. A lot of "twins" in anime were born as a result of them, maily in sports anime
