I love your art, Cecee. I started painting in July at age 74, rather late in life but amazingly enough, I find I’m pretty good. You’re the first artist I painted along with; you’re so creative and fun, simple to follow yet always a challenge. I just wanted to let you know how much I admire what you do. This painting is especially stunning and I really enjoyed copying you. Now if I only had your creativity.

I LOVE hearing that you are starting later in life too. I am not alone!!! I spend most of my time swatching and mixing colors but it brings me so much joy. One of these days I will have to bite the bullet and actually try to paint some art! Just wanted to share some positivity with the older crowd! Keeping our hearts and minds young!!

Your post is perfect timing for me. Finally settling down after the holidays and New Year! I like your voice over - your voice is so soothing. And who doesn't love it when you say "I get to use gold!" Yes, I know you. But I like that you don't talk the whole time. You have a great balance. My new rule for this year is that I have to stop watching so many tutorial videos and do more of my own work. But will always watch yours for inspiration. Move to Texas! It is usually in the 50s - 60s in the winter, and we have a lot of sunshine!

Hey, I know you are fond of your Kremer gold paint, but I found something at Jerry's Artarama that might interest you, I know I was. It's actual gold watercolor. It's just gold suspended in gum arabic and yeah, it's a little tiny wee bit pricey, but you are a famous You Tube artist , right? You can afford it. For just 150.00 it could be yours......if it's still on sale or go crazy and toss in another 50 and get a silver one too. It's just $$ hahaha yeah, I didn't get one either, but I, immediately, thought of you when I saw them. 😁 Tell ya what, I'll buy you one when I get rich, but if you get rich before me you can buy me one as a thank you for telling you about it haha deal? 😂 ok Lady, have a warm and beautiful day💜

I love watching you work, CeeCee. So relaxing. I also paint wc, and discover that if I attempt to emulate (copy!) what you've done, in short order my art muses snatch that away, and take me in MY direction! I've painted 2 marvelous paintings with your beginnings. And so it will be with this one. QUESTION; why and what is that door signature at the conclusion of your pieces? I see 3 tiny rectangles, then 4 sides. What does it say or mean? Thank you for your lessons, musings, trials, suggestions, kindness. Always such a treat to watch you. And I hope you didn't lose power during this creation! Frances (Fanna) Turano Denver, CO

thank you Kate. all tapes i have tried will pull up the paper to some degree. i always use a heat tool (like Ranger's Heat It tool) to warm up the glue a bit and it seems to do the trick. be careful not to heat to much because then the glue will stay on the paper. the tape i used for this one is called ProTapes Artist Tape and i bought it from Amazon Canada: amzn.to/36NHmCP . i'm sure you'll find it on Amazon.com .
