the technique is called "negative painting", where you paint around the actual object :) I love your color combo, and the gold!! and the white splatter is gorgeous! The color combination makes me think of a "midnight flower".....

So I am enjoying this cooler weather as much as I can, before the hot weather comes back. Well I assume we will get at least a few more hot days this summer.
