The Bell mansion (Forrester house) really was a magnificent property - loving the new aerial shots of it. And they did a great job of the LA backdrop off the balcony (except the sky is never blue! 😁).

Unfortunately, the house and property was recently torn down by the new property owner, LeBron James! This house and property was previously owned by Charles Boyer and Katherine Hepburn at different times. The Bells owned it 30 plus years.

Ridge is testing his self indeed, he's avoiding Caroline, he knows he can't get over Caroline if she's around. He even uses Brooke for distraction. And still end up Realizing he still so much in love with Caroline. Storm and stephanie even noticed this.

LOL It's also obvious that the memories of Caroline's prank night experience with Ridge are starting to power her emotions and giving her the positive energy to be laser-focused at work. That one night with Ridge must’ve completely rocked Caroline’s world to the point where she’s now becoming even more blatant about her feelings for Ridge and pointed disdain for Thorne. Face value, I want to feel bad for Thorne but he did have a part to play in this. Thorne knew what he was doing. Caroline really didn’t like him like that. She said it on more than one occasion to Thorne. Yet Thorne pursued until twisted circumstances and Caroline’s vulnerabilities were disarmed and worn down. But Caroline isn’t a saint. Her manipulation and gaslighting to Thorne to get what she wants (or doesn’t want) is seriously unbecoming and starting to make her look not so pretty. Caroline gets mad at people who call her out on things that she knows herself is wrong. She rationalizes and tries to keep her “angel image” amid her dirty work while convincing that everything is “fine” when it’s not.

i dont get Brooke really...she claims the problem in her budding relationship with Ridge were his feelings for Caroline...didnt she knew that right from the start? Didn't she do whatever she could so the two of them didnt spend any time alone? Like calling Thorne to get her from Ridge's office when the trial was over, hide the letter,badmouthing Ridge to Caroline, lying to Ridge that Caroline was so in love with Thorne and doesnt think of him.....

Every thing you said is 💯 accurate about Brooke….Brooke knew what she did the whole time, since she laid eyes on Ridge in the hospital ( rather heard about his wedding breakup with Caroline: an obsessive stalker turned Backstabber )

A lot of liars and backstabbing in this show. There was always more to Brooke including her weakness for Ridge who only wanted her as a conquest until he realized he did love her because she accepted him as is. He dumps her, she gets all depressed and finally moves on, then he wants her back again until the next time. If you are new to this series, you'll see. The writers keep repeating the same stories again and again the suddenly doing a complete 180 and adding hypocrisy left and right. I've watched from the first show but had to drop it every so often in frustration.

@@greggel Like many young ladies who have absentee fathers Brooke was wounded and seeking connection. I was also that girl (Yes in spite of my name I am a woman) in my youth. I admit while I understand the feelings, I got tired of wishy washy Ridge every time he had to choose between Brooke and anyone else, he chose someone else until she actually moved on then Ridge would pull her chain just to see if he still could. Tiresome. Even Ron Moss got tired and left. KKL hasn't had the same chemistry with anyone else (IMHO)

Ron Moss does some of his best and most natural acting in the Ridge-Caroline scenes. He's good with other characters, but he makes Ridge's emotions feel completely authentic when it comes to Caroline, a huge reason why their dynamic was a 2-way street.

I was glad when they didn't show this Caroline character 🤣🤣🤣.The script turned so dark for a while..and was a bit of a turn off. They had Caroline doing the Deception not Thorne..then they made his character out to be dark as well for what? For this terrible character of Caroline..was hard to buy.👎
