I don't think RM and HT had an affair in 1994 yet, at least I really really hope so. RM's daughter Creason was born on Feb. 26, 1994, so at the time of today's episode Creason was just a tiny baby. RM and his wife will have another daughter in 1998, but later will get divorced in 2002). HT in 1994 was married, had a son (born 1988) and later will have two daughters (born 1996 and 1998), but then get a divorce in 2005. So for their kids's sake, I hope RM and HT only were good actors. Can't be fun for spouses, to have to watch your husband/wife having love scenes with someone else on screen. I read that HT had to leave AMC because the show didn't want married people (she met her husband Michale Tylo on that show) acting on their show (and dealing with jealousy?). But won't the spouse still get jealous, if he/she watches loves scenes and reads gossip about flirtation and affairs?

@Annie O you were absolutely right about CJ being adorable 😢❤ what a heartwarming moment he had with Anthony 💞 I just knew they'd incorporate the music cue 🎶 at 15:40 These are the repel effects of a bad romance that never should've happened with a jerk like Clarke. A bad romance that never should've happened. Now a little boy is left yearning for a dad for a long time to come ☄ 😭 I love the Taylor and CJ parallel in this episode. CJ longing for someone to call dad, and Taylor feeling guilty. With Anthony and Ridge trying to re-assure them. Anthony usually has a motive, but he was utterly moved by CJ I'm glad this little boy didn't understand depth of this dialogue, brilliant acting by the child actor 🎭 nonetheless. Sadly it reminds me of my 9 year old cousin who's dad barely spends time with her 💔

If you recall Brooke and Eric got divorced only after Bridget paternity was determined. About the lab.. if i recall Brooke told Eric that her and Ridge were under the impression that Eric gave his blessing for them to have their weeknd in Big Bear ( cant remember the details now). the lab incidnt would have showed him , that this happened even before , she cheated before than that.

*JAMES WANTS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR TRIDGE* James in this scene confirms what I said in episode 1763 that he's NOT interested in breaking up Ridge & Taylor anymore. He is still hiding the Big Bear secret from Brooke, he insists that Ridge is committed to Taylor, and he indicates that he's ready to move on from her. James' interest in Brooke is genuine - it's BROOKE who's faking and playing games here and only using James to break up Ridge & Taylor. It's a common soap trope to have a love quadrangle where the two people on the "outside" work together to break up the super-couple and then eventually fall in love themselves. Examples of this include Neil & Drucilla initially trying to break up Nathan & Olivia on Y&R and Lucas & Sami initially trying to break up Austin & Carrie on DOOL. But there's a twist this time: James is NOT interested in breaking up Ridge & Taylor and he is already interested in Brooke. James seems to perceive his role as one in which he can "solve the problem" in Ridge & Taylor's marriage by getting involved with Brooke and thus removing the two obstacles to the super-couple in one fell swoop. He seems to have really been affected by his near-death experience, and genuinely grateful to Ridge for saving his life and to Taylor for her "last act."

It's true that there was something of a bonding moment for them after the food fight, but still for Macy to move past the disastrous situation with Karen and Thorne she'd need an almost superhuman capacity for letting go and not holding grudges. Since Tridge fans are gloating, here's a dose of truth... Before St Thomas, *Way before 2005* We were all so sure it was going to be Bridge. That Eric would finally see the writing on the wall about his marriage that had been doomed from the start, and that Taylor would too, Taylor had tried to insert herself many times and lost time and time again because it was Brooke that Ridge so clearly loved. He treated Taylor terribly! He broke Taylor's heart. Then baby Rick and Eric had the accident and Ridge decided to assauge his conscience. And Tridge's marriage was always under the shadow of Bridge's love. Taylor had doubts from the start, for good reason. Back then the Bells called Bridge star-crossed lovers.
