The Jessica/Dylan/Ivana triangle was their first attempt to attract youngers viewers, but those characters were totally annoying. They at least learned from their mistakes when introducing teenage Rick and C.J., Amber, Becky and Kimberly several years later.

Yes - Rick, CJ, Amber, Becky and Kimberly were a better "younger set". But even their storylines were not exactly "younger" storylines, instead we had all these kids fighting to be parents to a baby/toddler.

They try to get their hooks into younger ( jr. High/ high school) female audience out of school on summer break. New viewers for the next 30 years.thats how it happened for me 50 years ago. Guiding Light, search for tomorrow, As the World Turns, Edge Of Night, even Dark Shadows, and ynr. Obviously it works .

Really not enjoying the scenes with Jessica and Ivana. These episode fillers are very mundane and slow moving. Not sure why they need to emphasise the fact that Jessica is an innocent country girl by making her where the frumpiest clothes known to man. We get it; she’s unworldly. In this episode, she looks like a Pilgrim….🙄 Want to see more interesting storylines & characters.

Then this scene could've been Dylan posing sexily in various states of undress (a win for everybody) while Jessica stares dreamily and fantasizes about _Dylan._ Also as a model for the men's line, they could've also put Dylan in Brooke's orbit.

That's like Ivana working in fashion houses in Paris, only to get work now modelling for Forrester... Several steps down.

The difference is that Victoria was such a likable character. Also, Ryan was very handsome. They had so much chemistry between them. Loved them as a couple. I’ve barely been watching this season; no real chemistry between anyone. Nick, how to you remember all of these old stories? Aren’t ya pretty young? I’m impressed!

It mentions *lessons I've learned* , *playing with fire and not getting burned* ... and in the same episode Ivana starts her scheme to teach Jessica a *lesson* . Jessica dreams of being *fearless* and modeling - and then that dream turns into a nightmare, Jessica ending up getting *burned* when everyone laughs about her first modeling attempt.

❤❤❤ The Writers of B&B outdid themselves in this episode! They utilized so many literary techniques in the various scenes. I love how they juxtaposed Ivana's realistic modelling scene, to Jessica's fantasy modelling which was further amplified, and presented through the style of a reverie. Many layers were added to present Jessica's dilemma to the audience. The music used for both Ivana and Jessica was very appropriate and it made complex issues more relatable. Angel/ Trinidad. ❤❤❤
