BOLD Move! Jeep Drops Automatic for 2025 Wranglers

Idk, I’m kind of suspicious. Manuals don’t sell well anymore and the Pentastar v6 is starting to age and might not meet upcoming emissions regulations. Could Jeep be forcing them together to intentionally slow sales/force buyers to other models and eventually cancel them both at once?

So they already don’t sell well so the smart decision is to limit the v6 to manual. I don’t see too many newer manual jeep people are buying.

I don't know it this is the same transmition, but a couple of years ago, Jeep had really big problems because of their manual overheating and catching fire lol

I have a JK with a manual and the pentastar engine, manual windows, manual locks... very basic but tons of character and drives awesome.

This is absolutely a horrible move by Jeep / Stellantis. I can absolutely guarantee you they sell 10x more automatics than manual. Maybe they are trying to get rid of all 2024 ones because they're overstocked on those
