Each character had a purpose in the old days. They weren't used as a prop for a singular storyline happening between three people. I have no idea what's happening now, but I feel like the show revolves around Steffy, Liam, Hope. All the other characters, including higher paid, are supplements to the same boring triangle that continues to happen.

i think Donna and Storm should never left the show so early ( 1991 and 1992). But the writers decided to focus on Spectra clan and Hamilton clan , lets not forget B&B is 25 mins show not the regular 45 mins soap

The intricate interconnection between these characters are truly marvellous. For instance, Storm joining Margo team against Clark, add a new layer of complexity and drama to the storyline.

Like Taylor characters was not on the writers mind of course in 1988.. and when she was introduced it was only a temp character but Hunter Tylo won the writers over , and created a storyline for her (Storm) and changed her background from onkologist to psychologist to fit into Ridge storyline

I do actually feel bad for Margo in this episode when she's talking to Storm. Love how Ridge looks after Rocco. I am disliking Caroline's character by the minute, she used to be really sweet and lovely and now she's kind of screwing everyone over. I get she's been through the rough waters but geez.

Margo may not have been abandoned but Clark has already claimed to her he will deny anything to do with her and that if she talks he was gonna leave away far from her and the child because he doesn't care about the pregnancy. Basically he doesn't want to make himself accountable for their affair and doesn't want to be responsable for his offspring.

Kristen, I don't know how to think about her. I like the character but not when it comes to her niaveness with Clarke. Ridge was very much a playboy and I think that's why Bill didn't like him dating his virginal (in the beginning) daughter. That's how I determined the start of Bill's hatred for Ridge

I love how writers throw us EVIDENCE of CRIDGE LOVE/Passion even in this episode ( without a Caroline scene) ie for eg he says we can talk about our sufferings together Margo ( & Margo understood he was talking about Caroline) This should not be a suffering man as he has the Ever ready BROOKE Logan who rushes to his every call; he is clearly talking about his love for Caroline and how it hurts ( especially with last episode where he finds out she is going with Thorne on the vacation! He so believed that she wouldn’t…there is an unspoken bond between them, that each of them live not leave the home: it is like they are dancing a tango/ looking into each other’s eyes but with different partners ( clearly they know and live with the mistake that Caroline made in accepting Thorne’s proposal out of gratitude instead of love) they are clearly suffering for her mistake and Caroline is just realizing what a HUGE mistake she made!! Brooke/ Thorne fans may skip scenes like these and place no value to the SCREEN writers using secondary characters like Margo here ( past episodes where Rocco telling Caroline about Ridges LOVE FOR HER after marriage!!) to hammer into the viewers that CRIDGE is still in LOVE WITH EACH OTHER!
