I’d love to know the history of Stephanies relationship with her father. A vibrant, strong, intelligent, beautiful woman would go to these lengths to hang on to a man that no longer loves her. IMO

karrenherrin90: Here is the history. Stephanie's father used to beat her very often and her mother Ann, NEVER protected Stephanie. Plus, as soon as Stephanie saw an opportunity to get away from her parents, she took it. That opportunity came in the form of her pregnancy in college. The inserted back story later on was, Stephanie's pregnancy was fathered by a man who was as controlling and overbearing as her father. So, she set her sights on a mild-mannered student(Eric)who she subsequently built a life and business with. Not necessarily the most honorable move to make, BUT, in hindsight, I understand why she made that choice. Stephanie wrecked her marriage to Eric all on her own by being a SHREW/harpy because, that was the only way she felt validated, since she was treated so harshly by her father, ignored by her mother and blamed for her sister Pam's challenges.

The way I remember it was that Brooke wanted to get revenge on Stephanie so she told Eric everything about Stephanie arranging to send her parents away and Eric got angry. Now as they got together I think Brooke was or thought she was in love, so this on its own wasn't for revenge. Perhaps hurting Stephanie by being with her husband was a bonus. And I also think she didn't exactly get with Eric for revenge because when Stephanie first confronted her, Brooke told her that her marriage was over before she even met Brooke, meaning she didn't consider herself responsible. If her getting with Eric was meant for revenge only I imagine Brooke would say "Yes I took him from you, I said I would make you pay and I just did" or something like that.

No not at all I don't think because you could see in the beginning episodes even Eric had like a fondness for Brooke and kind of a crush you could see like his fondness for her in the beginning I think he was fond of her based on the fact that she is best daughter best daughter be th's daughter and because he loved Beth so much and turn he has a great animation for her daughter affirmation and I think it was just a bonus that it hurt Stephanie when Brooke got any kind of praise from Ridge or Eric so that pushed Eric to like Brooke even more but I really think they loved each other truly after all they had two kids together

They've been editing alot of stuff out. I"m still waiting for them to put back on screen how Beric originally got together and it was a rape. Brooke didn't chase after Eric. Both time Brooke got pregnant from Eric it was due to rape. Rick was the result of them not even dating he just sneaked in her bedroom and messed around with her while she was completely knocked out on medication. She turned him down for sleleping with him and received apology flowers and later after seeing a doctor (soap opera time) she started to date him to get him to fall in love with her. 2nd they were separated and she was engaged to Ridge and waiting on him to issue a divorce and he slept with her when he drove her home from a party becaues he noticed she was inebriated. He slept with her unknown to her that resulted in Bridget who she thought belonged to Ridge beccause they were cohabitating and engaged.

Not necessarily a Brooke lover but a grt fan of this show.. but it may be said that Caroline was reminded of the Logan's by Ridge in one of the episodes earlier.. she didn't remember them herself and she only went to see them cos of what Ridge told her.. Ridge is the catalyst here reminding Caroline of how the Logans were there for her at a difficult time because it appears to Ridge she may has lost track of that. If not for Ridge, there is doubt if she would hv visited to check up on them at all.. I don't dislike Caroline but I can't accept her being simplified as a one dimensional angelic character (at the expense of totally villianising Brooke as one dimensional too) when Caroline has her fair share of grey shades as well.. and this make her interesting too..

Who the hell does that weird behavior of going to the hospital after hearing that a celebrity marriage broke up 🙄🙄🤮🤣🤣only crazy opportunistic Brooke🤮even her sisters thought she was CRAZY for going to the hospital to OOGLE!! There seems to be a Bias on the Logan’s with few fans to view them as “the saints” just bcos they are “poorer and work”…versus rich Caroline who is all heart, goodness and compassion, naive yes, but never meddling like BROOKE the self serving backstabber was to Caroline…brooke sequestered Caroline in her home and helped herself to Ridge surreptitiously and Shamelessly influenced her towards Thorne, all the time being engaged to Dave/ but Caroline in all kindness visits Beth Logan to check in on her NOT DECEPTIVELY and is gracious enough to recognize what Storm said to her about how Beth might see the visit as and she graciously exited with class: this is a kind compassionate visit with NO ULTERIOR deceptive motive on Caroline’s part and yet it is shocking that few viewers see this visit from Caroline as meddling. Now Stephanie is a meddler but to say Caroline is meddling by visiting Beth Logan is shocking and sad indeed..,. Unless one is not a Caroline fan but a brooke fan and unjustly malign Caroline’s actions but give free pass to Brookes egregious behaviors since day one to CRIDGE romance! The hypocrisy is sad indeed.
