Then suddenly Amber goes crazy, starts fearing Deacon and Macy, Rick files for adoption, and Brooke's role is forgotten. I don't know what's more annoying.. the biased writing or Brooke's stans who talk rubbish without any corroboration to what actually happened.

See Eric's grand parents know the truth about deacon. He tries to pull himself together but it doesn't last. We can see this in the future. Same goes for amber. Macy has no right. She should have kept out of it. Since she returned she has caused nothing but chaos. Her main goal is revenge. Nothing you all can say can change the fact. Yes she knows exactly what to say to cover her motives but we all know her agenda. If it was another child she would have not pushed so hard.

If things had gone Macy’s way, everything would’ve been just fine, she and Deacon kept trying all along to work something out and do a co parenting, even after the court ruled to their favour, they still wanted to work something out and were even willing to let Rick and Amber see Eric more than they had to, while Brooke, Rick and later Amber kept screwing everything up but sure, lets just put all the blame on Macy because she happens to be in bad terms with the head of the cult

Deacon, Amber and Macy were getting along and playing together with Little Eric on the beach. Then came Brooke's restraining order and messed up everything. Macy didn't want Brooke's seIfishness to destroy Deacon's family. That is not the same as wanting revenge because the main purpose was _not_ hurting Brooke, but keeping Brooke from hurting others. Is it revenge to defend someone from a buIIy?

@annieo6527 First of all the restraining order was the idea of ridges lawyer who was a complete fool and brought in by ridge. You only mention brooke which says a lot. Macy got what she deserved. She pushed deacon to get revenge. This is a plain fact. They didn't trust deacon and rightly so. No father has the right to see his child although I am sure in time they would let him. He wanted to sell him and saw him as a meal ticket. You have to earn the right first. Just because you went to AA isn't enough. Brooke was defending her son. Nothing wrong with that. What was macy defending a man she just met. Oh come on.

@@rosmarygiovani It was the lawyer's idea, but Brooke was actually the one who told him "yes, go ahead with the restraining order" - it was _her_ decision. "No father has the right to see his child" - on the contrary, _every_ father has a right to see his child (unless there are very specific circumstances that make him a bad parent), or more correctly, _every child has a right to see both their parents._ The right to be a parent is not something to be earned, it is a responsibility you have from the moment the child is born, and it can only be taken away if there are very strong reasons for it. It is simply _not Brooke's place_ to determine whether or not Deacon is a good enough father, just because she happens to be the parent that Hope is currently living with. A parent spending time with his child is in the child's best interest and does _not_ equal "revenge" against the other parent. On the other hand, a parent preventing a child from spending time with their other parent _does_ equal revenge against that other parent. And if the parents can't get along, it is not up to one of the parents to decide if or when the other parent has "earned" the right to spend time with their child - that matter is best resolved in court in that case. (By the way, yes, Macy _was_ defending a man she just met, even before knowing who he was. Because she was defending what's _right_ - children deserving to know both their parents.)

@annieo6527 I totally disagree. Of course every parent has the right to be with their child. But when the parent wasn't in the life of the infant from birth and left the mother the way he did definitely has to earn it. Even when he found out he had a son his attitude was appalling and thinking only of how to sell him at the best price. All these small details you seem to forget to mention. No deacon cannot be trusted. Yes he should be able to see his child but that depends on his behaviour and understanding. So he has to earn every step. Because he is going to AA dose not guarantee he will not return to alchohol.
