The power of youth is perhaps one of the best philosophical commentaries made in the show. Most people who watched naruto as kids had grown up to be in college by the time these episodes aired and it's so easy to forget about the importance of being mentally youthful under the burden of ur responsibilities and Guy just swoops in and reminds u, that youth always ends on ur own terms.

It was so easy to extract them because they weren’t sealed away by this point in time. Pain had to use multiple people and a long jutsu because the beasts were locked behind a seal.

@@Ryodraco I agree that it is a great part of the story, but saving Guy is one of those moments that I feel out of place, like that jutsu that Naruto trained more than the Rassengan; it's a moment that doesn't fit in that part of the story as a whole. I don't know how formidable Guy might be as of now, i don't watch Boruto; the last I saw of him in Shippuden made me cringe.

sigh, people skipping the great filler episodes which are in CANON and do a lot for the character development and story. I mean if you liked that guy flashback think about all the great flashbacks you guys skipped for no fucking reason. Also btw a flashback isn't fucking filler if it's in a canon episode, its just a normal flashback for that canon episode as well it was in the manga. A filler is a full fucking episode with with multiple episodes following it usually not just a 2 min scene.
