16:18 Kaguya has two separate warping abilities: the one that resides in her Rinne-Sharingan, called Amenominaka actually warps time-space around the user. It's instantenous, and she can't controll who's taken with her. Kind of hard to explain, it's not really that she rip a hole in reality for fast travel, rather it's more that she literally rewrites reality around herself. The other one, that works similar to Kamui is a more traditional portal-teleportation, called Yomotsu Hirasaka. She has more refined controll over who she targets, with it but it's not instantenous, she has to open a portal, and physically enter it. With Sasuke being moments away from skewering her, she had to use Amenominaka, even if it meant taking the others with her.

And yeah Kaguya is not a strategist when it comes to fighting, she just brute force her way with her enormous power and chakra. Just want to mention that Kakashi losing the Sharingan is actually a good thing. (Though yes, he loses a powerful ability) It’s not obvious since we’ve never seen the difference, but Kakashi’s chakra reserves were demolished by constantly fueling a Sharingan he shouldn’t have.

Sharingan and Byakugan can only tell the difference between clones if the users Chakra is not evenly distributed. This is also stated in the show. Once Naruto was able to split his Chakra evenly between his clones nobody is able to tell the difference, even with the Byakugan. I guess you could argue that Kaguyas Kekkei Mora Byakugan should be able to tell a difference.

Yea, they made it clear when it was Neji vs Naruto and through out the shows. Basically Naruto has mastered shadow clones with perfect chakra distribution. Those with Sharingan and Byakugan they just predict which is the OG

Kaguya possesses every Kekkei Genkai as a much stronger Kekkei Mora version, but I guess this is most obvious with her version of Kimiraro‘s Shikotsumyaku or the way she manipulates ice to in much greater magnitude than Haku could.

Clone jutsu is almost like genjutsu in the sense that they’re just illusions of the real person. However, Shadow clones are actual chakra wielding clones. You are told the difference during the OG naruto series when Team 7 worked with Kabuto against the mist ninja in the forest of death.

Kakashi death was completely believable there. He lost his Sharingan and was no longer able to contribute to the battle. It was a logical place to set up his tragic death. But I was glad how it turned out with Obito redemption.

To answer ur question about the shadow clones sensing, both the sharingan and byakugan can only see the amount of chakra in the real body and the clones (with the byakugan seeing the chakra networks too) so whenever naruto uses his shadow clones if he splits his chakra evenly across the clones the amount of chakra won't be different between the real body and the clones. But a lot of times its pretty clear that naruto isn't splitting his chakra evenly but is still not sensed so thats just an inconsistency.

Since you both seemed like you were having a bit of trouble with this topic, Shadow Clones are visibly the same as the caster, inside and out. Same chakra points and everything. The only way to tell the difference is the amount of chakra that was used for the clones. "Like how Neji could not tell Naruto apart from the clones." Hopefully this helped a bit.

Sharingan cannot tell the difference between clones this have been the case since the chunin exams where Sasuke identified the fodder gasmask Ninja's chakra as the same signature. Only Madara can tell the difference between wood clones because he was so bitter and insecure after he was duped by a Hashirama clone in the final battle, he gained that ability after years of extensive research on specifically shadow clones so to never be tricked again by one of them. Byakugan can't tell shadow clones from one another period, Neji specifically says this vs Naruto and Hinata only identified Naruto as real in the war by looking at his eyes, because of some weird connection between them. Not because she could tell clones apart.

For Kaguya to take herself she needs to open a portal and go through it. If you pay attention anytime she goes or pulls someone she goes through a portal but in order to change the whole space at once she doesn't need to but that takes everyone in her surroundings area with her too that's what happens each time she changes spaces

Funny enough, I don't remember anyone being able to tell his clones apart. With the normal clones, yeah since its just an illusion of them being there. Shadow clones though, are actually physically there and have the same amount of chakra which is what makes them much more difficult to differentiate

Actually the byakugan can only see their chakra flow, so if the caster of shadow clones distribute his chakra evenly among all the shadow clones the byakugan and potentially the sharingan cannot tell the difference. This was shown in the og naruto vs neji fight. (Neji could not find the real naruto among his shadow clones)

But in the real timeline, the hardships he created brought the 5 nations together and brought peace through Naruto as a saviour. Obito as Hokage would likely not have brought about peace between the nations, at least not as decisively or rapidly as the real timeline.

Kaguya has like two options of teleport, she can like teleport instantly a largo area or she can open a portal that it is supposed to be used by specific people. The first one is faster to use (important cause Sasuke was nearly already at her face). Also, as you said she could have panicked, of course.

Kakashi's Sharingan was nerfed so hard... like, there is a fan-made fight between Kakashi and Sasuke at the waterfall after Sasuke killed Danzo, and it is 10x better than what we got because the fan used the fact that Kakashi has copied 100 Jutsu, he was using all the elements like back in OG Naruto.. I feel like they realized how OP Kakashi was and just hoped if they limited him to Chidori and some lightning substitutions and the Kamui that we would forget how OP he was... Kakashi without the sharingan still knows those Jutsu, but it never gets addressed again after Kamui in the Deidara fight of Shippuden... But I was very much hoping that Obito would just be like, "Shit, i'm gonna turn to dust..let me rip out my eye and throw it to Kakashi now

Kakashi is powerful because he's a Kakashi and a genius shinobi. The sharingan actually was a burden for him because his body was not fit to carry the sharingan because he's not an Uchiha and that's why he used it only in extreme situations and activating the mangekyu left him in a hospital for weeks. He only lost the kamui and the super reflexes that allowed him to "copy" other jutsus, other than that Kakashi is the same, only with more Chakra.

The byakugan was stated to be able to see through regular clones as they didnt have chakra, but because naruto's SHADOW clones have identical chakra there is no difference, same with the sharingan, i think sasuke is the only one that was able to tell the difference, like ever

I feel obitos death could have been so much better.. with the tiny addition.. of him walking away from narutos hands. Like him walking into death to follow rin... would have honestly made it hit so much harder.. especially if the direction he walked was towards kakashi.... that would have solved some of my problems with this part of the story... like the fact sakura is standing there with a diamond on her forehead meaning she still has Chakra to spare... and could have done something before now to maybe change everything.. honestly everything after guy vs Madara was kind of downhill for me.. like guy going 8th gate... reading it week to week.. was the most hype moment in the whole series to me.. and from what I heard the writer only brought kagura in because he literally could not think of a satisfactory end to the Madera fight and had to think of a shift to give naruto and Sasuke at least one option to win.. basically saying Madara was too OP

no the Byakugan sharingan can definitely not tell the difference between a real Shadow clone and the real person. Madara was the only person ever shown being able to do this. Sasuke only did it one time in the anime only fight at the end of part 1 and in the Neji fight Naruto tricked him by pulling a similar stunt to the one here with Kaguya. You'd think the sharingan, Rinnegan, or Byakugan would be able to tell, but for some reason they can't (except goat Madara lol).

I feel like the Kaguya arc would have been better accepted if Madara had been defeated in a fight and THEN the arc started. It was a sour taste for everyone having her come out before Madara has an epic end fight. Climax not achieved.

Why didn't Obito just use izanagi so he can't die? We saw him use it against Konan so why not just use it now since he has both eyes now.
