Over the years, Malaika has been a huge victim of social media bullying and societal judgment, especially post her divorce. While the society is inherently sexist, it always jumps first to shame and judge a woman when they go through a divorce or are in a relationship. Malla reveals she faced it all and although it was her 'lowest' phase but she sailed through all of it. Malaika also opened up about another topic that often gets overlooked - age shaming - she reveals she has often been ridiculed online and shamed for what she wears, does or looks like, at her age. I love what she is wearing. She is so inspiring - proving that age is just a number. She looks fantastic and takes great care of herself. We need more women like her. Too many people (men and women) throw judgement at you (her) when you don't conform to the "norm" but what is the norm - a set of rules invented way back which are not adapted to changing circumstances. We need people like Malaika and others to be the change. Personally I live life on my terms. Going through a divorce and being the happiest I have ever been. Not tied by the shackles of society. I can't think of anything worse than living a life where I just don't want to be anymore. Our kids are happier too, which is really important.
