Oh yeah, the rebels are actually coded (For some reason) to shoot at the dead imperial bodies when they kill one. Theyll also switch to their sidearm to do this. They'll do this until the dead body prop despawns, then theyll switch back to their primary gun and keep fighting. The strange thing is if you go near them (As an imperial) theyll look at you but continue to fire at the dead body. They can lose a few matches like that.

I don't know why they did it in-game, but in the lore, stormtrooper armour actually absorbs the energy from blaster shots, keeping the wearer alive, so technically, most stormtroopers we see shot across various media are not dead. Maybe the rebels are shooting the "corpse" to make sure the stormies are really dead? 😄

In the Classic Collection for BF2 on the map, Yavin 4 Area, the hero for the Republic is Dark Side Anakin. I don't think he is available for any other map as the Republic.

1) Some of the class weapons in Battlefront 1 has unique traits. For example, the rebel vanguard's HH-15 missile launcher uses a 2-shot burst fire mode. The rebel marksman's E-17d sniper rifle has dual zoom but less ammunition. The clone trooper uses V-6 haywire grenades instead of thermal detonators. 2) The names of weapon models could only be found in the official game guides. They are never given in the game. The guides also have flavor texts describing these weapons. 3) According to the game guides, the clone sharpshooter and droid assassin use different recon droids from the rebel marksman and scout trooper. While the latter two both use the Mark IV recon droid, the clone sharpshooter uses the R-1 recon droid and the droid assassin the R-4 recon droid. However, all share the same in-game model and capabilities, so the lore difference can only be known from the game guide. In the Battlefront 2 game guide, all recon droids are designated the Mark IV. 4) The self-destruct function of recon droids in Battlefront 1 call down an orbital strike. In Battlefront 2, they turn into a time bomb instead. 5) The DC-15x sniper rifle of the clone sharpshooter and the E-11s sniper rifle of the scout trooper uses the model of a DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle. The rebel marksman's E-17d sniper rifle uses the model of a DLT-20A blaster rifle. The E-5s sniper rifle of the droid assassin on the other hand is the same model that appears in _Clone Wars_ (2003) at the Battle of Muuninlinst, but it does not have the fully automatic firing mode it shows in the cartoon. 6) The EMP launcher and all types of grenade launchers in both Battlefront 1 & 2 uses the model of a T-21 light repeating blaster. 7) The DH-17 blaster rifle used by the rebel soldiers was entirely exclusive to Battlefront 1 & 2 (and only identified in the game guides) until the release of The Force Unleashed, where it is used by Rahm Kota's militia. 8) Rhen Var: Citadel has a crypt, which is the resting place of Ulic Qel-Droma. The map is not just a tie-in with the video game _The Clone Wars_ (2002) where Anakin encounters his ghost but also the _Tales of the Jedi_ comic series. 9) In the demo I had of Battlefront 1, the only playable map was Endor and there were some differences in the units' equipment. The most notable is that the rebel marksman has a disguise ability that temporarily replaced her model with that of a stormtrooper. Enemies would treat her as an ally. Sadly, I lost the demo long ago, can't prove it, and it doesn't seem like anyone else had that specific demo. 10) Superlatives lol. Bantha fodder = player with the most deaths. Traitor = player with the most TKs. 11) The rebel combat speeder in Battlefront 1 was originally going to have a completely different model according to the official website which never updated it to the model used in the game. Interestingly, there was a Lego set of a rebel vehicle around 2006 or 2007 that was based on the unused model of the combat speeder. (Info on this can be found on Wookieepedia) 12) The jet trooper's commando pistol is actually the DC-17 blaster according to the game guide. The official website for Battlefront 1 showed that the model for the DC-17 commando pistol was originally intended to be the same as the pistol used by Captain Fordo at the Battle of Muuninlinst in _Clone Wars_ (2003). This is in fact the original design for the DC-17 blaster which was later changed. However, in the final product, the commando pistol in Battlefront 1 uses the same model as the DC-15S instead. 13) According to the game guides, the stormtroopers actually use baradium core thermal detonators. The Visual Dictionary for the Original Trilogy shows that the baradium core thermal detonator is actually the cylindrical accessory that is always seen at the back of stormtroopers' belts. In addition, the game guide say that the clone trooper uses a V-1 thermal detonator. However, in the game, the V-1 thermal detonator and the baradium core thermal detonator look identical to the rebel soldier's Class A thermal detonator, which is also the same type used by Leia in Jabba's Palace in Episode 6. 14) The ARC trooper's PLX-1 missile launcher and the assault droid's E-60R missile launcher both originally appeared in _Clone Wars_ (2003) as well. So many references to that cartoon! On the other hand, the shock trooper's MiniMag PTL missile launcher was first described in the 2003 novel _Shatterpoint_ that stars Mace Windu. The design of the weapon was originally created for the game.

There are E-11s on the Tantive IV because it’s technically an Imperial vessel for diplomats and politicians like Leia. They are likely there for self defense of the crew if boarded by pirates (or Darth Vader)

When you get the awards for the various blasters in each of the base four classes in BF2, you actually get awarded a new blaster that you can equip by switching to the secondary weapon and then back. It always starts fully loaded with max ammo. The regular class gets a burst rifle, the sniper a beam rifle, the heavy a guided missile, and the engineer a flechette shotgun

Maybe the reason why the Tantive IV had E-11s was because they were being smuggled. The Tantive IV could have appeared as Leai's personal political escort ship but was actually used to smuggle weapons for the Rebellion.

In OG BF1, if you use heavy class (rocket launcher) you can automatically home the rocket if you point the reticle to an enemy vehicle (there will be a green bar fill in the ammo bar). Correct me if already mentioned in the video

In BF2 Conquest mode, playing the Galactic Civil War Era, if the Rebel loose on Hoth they can never regain control it again and same for the Empire on Endor as these planets each faction start with their planet already in control(Rebel owns Hoth and Empire owns Endor)

5:16 Another fun fact with the oxygen, they coded this into space battles as well. It's just hard to know about it. There's a way to land your ship halfway in the hangar and halfway out with a lot of practice and patience. If you land it just right, you exit the ship on the platform outside (it has to be a Venator or a Star Destroyer since they are the only ones with a platform). If you are a droid, you can stay there indefinitely and walk around the exterior of the ship and even use weapons against fighters. As any human, space is still considered space (even though there is clearly no intention of this mechanic being relevant to space battles) and they will suffocate.

He missed two really cool details in my opinion. The first being on endor where an AT ST can go inbetween two logs. If it does the two logs come down on the AT ST destroying it, like in the movies. And on hoth you can use a tow cable to trip and kill AT ATs.

The oddest SW Gaming fact I know: The ACP Array Gun is superficially modelled after the Franchi SPAS-12 (mostly in the foreend) But this connection actually goes a little deeper, as it's pump-action in Republic Commando and EA's Battlefront 2, but it is heavily implied to also have a semi-automatic mode, thanks to it's appearance in the Clone Wars (namely in the arc where Ahsoka gets kidnapped and hunted for sport by Trandoshans) And so, just like the REAL SPAS-12, it would seem that the ACP Array Gun is capable of switching between these two modes at the user's leisure.
