Makes it absolutely pointless to have a list when people start thinking that you should have 10 of practically the same game on a list. You can literally have ONE Lego game and say it encompasses ALL of the Lego games. You can have Rogue Squadron 2 and say it encompasses ALL of the Rogue Squadron games. A list should be immediately thrown in the trash if it has Lego Star Wars 1, Lego Star Wars 2 OT, Lego Star Wars 3, Lego Star Wars Complete, Lego Star Wars Skywalker ANYWHERE on it. Its really not that hard to look at an entire franchise, and place the ENTIRE franchise on the list just with one title

Those games were FAR more similar to each other than LEGO Skywalker Saga and LEGO Complete Saga. I agree that putting LSW1, LSW2 and TCS on the list would be weird since TCS is mostly just a remaster of 1 and 2 combined into one game, but TCS and TSS are very different games so i'd say at least TSS and TCS/the previous LEGO Star Wars games should be separated. Sure, both are LEGO games, but one is a level based puzzle platformer with extremely simple gameplay, and the other is an open world game with more of a focus on combat in the levels. Saying "TSS is practically the same as TCS" is kind of like saying "Jedi Survivor, Battlefront 2015 and Outlaws are all practically the same game" because they go for a more realistic style. same with the Battlefront games. I'd say there's a big enough difference between 2005 and 2017 that they could have given them separate spots on the list. There's a lot of similarities, sure, but there's also a lot of differences. This reasoning would make sense for Jedi Academy i guess if they didn't have the games i mentioned earlier as separate.

I would have really wanted the Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith game from 2005 to be on this list. The gameplay and dueling mechanics in that game was way ahead of its time. I’m surprised that the original Dark Forces game didn’t make it on the list. It’s more than just a Doom clone after all. It was the first Star Wars shooter, it gave the player the ability to look up and down, it acted as an actual 3D platformer and it had an immersive story that very few Star Wars games were given the opportunity to have back in the early 90’s. This includes the likes of the X-WING games, which only acted as a basic flight and space combat simulator. (although admittedly, the first Tie Fighter game did feature an original story and was set in the canon of the original Heir to the Empire trilogy by author Timothy Zahn.)

Fallen Order is my favourite star wars game. It is clear that it was made to set up a sequel but it's so good in it's own right. The plot, exploration, enemies, lore, nostalgia, characters are all great. My main issue is that the crew just stands around doing nothing apart from in the last mission, after which Cere goes back to standing there. Merrin is the only one with animations when standing outside the mantis from what I've seen, sometimes she'll use that magical rock thingy. I wish you could bring crew members with you. But other than that, it's nearly perfect. Graphical issues, such as those white blips when the map is loading in or when certain objects lose 75% of their polygons also occur, but given the target hardware it's understandable. Overall it's a great game and story with few issues and many successes.

SWGOH is profitable but it's not a good game in any way. In fact, they actively don't want it to be one, the one time they added a feature people actually liked and which wasn't just a total effortless cash grab (original version of the conquest mode), they had to change it so people wouldn't like it as much.

I was about to comment the multitude of games they missed that deserved HIGH rankings, as well as rant about certain included ones that do NOT belong (for something to belong, you have to ask: is this better than every SW game that ISN'T on this list? Hunters at 25 is absurd when you consider the omissions), AND rant about their actual rankings of the ones they did include (KOTOR 2 has an argument of being better than KOTOR 1, but no matter which one was ranked higher, they should have been number 1 and 2, no question.) However, you did a fine job of referencing all this already, so I don't need to go into details. I am very glad SW Podracer made it, but there is no reason to have its sequel included. The original Podracer on N64 is a game I could play non-stop even today. SWTOR and SW Galaxies are criminal omissions. That's beyond the pale. So much of our fanbase have countless amazing memories, communities and friendships built, and experiences had, from the 2 SW online games. And SWtor is a ground-breaking game in general, apart from SW, simply from its story telling and voice acting. Original Battlefront and EA Battlefront 2 deserve recognition. Republic Commando, anyone?? Force Unleashed 2 belongs, and the first one should be far higher. Revenge of the Sith Tie Fighter (Lower end of the list, but it was a big game for us back then) Each of the Kyle Katarn JK games deserved individual spots, their lightsaber combat was unparalleled. The Lego games can be grouped together somewhat, but I do think there should be 2 separate spots on the list for the Lego Games, and have the top couple mentioned for the higher slot, and the rest all placed together in the lower spot. I'd even argue SW Galaxies of Heroes deserves a spot, for being the only SW game to include ALL the SW characters from all eras, EU and Canon. It's so cool to be able to battle with Revan, Bastila, Malgus, Traya, Nihilus, Bane, etc, against a team of Luke, or Obi Wan, or the Mandalorian and Grogu, etc. From Mara Jade and Thrawn and Darth Talon, to Dash Rendar, Hondo Ohnaka, Jabba the Hutt, to all the main movie characters, to the Old Republic era characters, to Starkiller and Dr Aphra.... The ability to have all these characters together in one game is priceless, plus it's the most profitable SW game ever, and Ahnald's content ROCKS! I guess I ranted anyways. All us true fans know. It's just sad to see so many games not get the recognition and honor they deserve, or even none at all, while games like SW HUNTERS are on the list.... Pretty obvious this was a marketing stunt. It's messed up how much Disney tries to sh1t on old SW content to prop up their own stuff. There's no need to do that, and it only hurts us, the fans, and pushes us away. I've been a female SW super-fan my whole life, and it breaks my heart to see it handled so poorly now.
