I almost love Star Wars Outlaws. I thought it was gonna be terrible but I tried it and no. Flawed, definitely but the exploration is terrific, the ship combat is fun and even the shooting is surprisingly good. Skelton Crew definitely went in a different direction than what I was expecting but it’s pretty weird. I’m pretty neutral on it, not bad at all but not particularly interesting. The droid (which is by far the best character) needed some modulation on the voice because it sounds like someone is talking off screen while we look at a droid

Skeleton crew is amazing! I really love the idea of smaller scale stories in the Star Wars universe. It’s a huge world not every story needs the same characters or the empire. And the it’s just such good vibes and the lore is dope too

Metal Gear Solid is one of the best franchises in gaming history. No Star Wars game comes close to surpasaing any main Metal Gear entry. Dumb comparison. You can't compare every stealth game with Metal Gear, if you do that, then only Thief and Splinter Celk are worth it.

@rodrigoamorin9480 I'm comparing it based on its stealth mechanics. When a game from 1998 has more in-depth stealth mechanics than a modern one, that's a big issue. Stealth games should've evolved, not devolvled with the current technology that game studios have now. Ubisoft also made Splinter Cell and SW Outlaws is a complete downgrade, so it's a fair comparison.

Outlaws isn’t a stealth game, friend. A few forced stealth sections (which were even tweaked in an update) don’t warrant comparison to an absolute stealth game legend. It’s a Star Wars crime adventure. You’re on a speeder bike with a loud ass blaster, stealing from drug cartels. You’re not intended to be Star Wars Snake.

@theshep3000 I'm comparing the stealth mechanics and a lot of the missions have stealth or have it as an option. Ubisoft made Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed, both series known for having stealth mechanics. SW Outlaws is a complete downgrade of those two and MGS when it comes to stealth.

@vruxdrossgaming Yes, Ubisoft made Splinter Cell, but they didn't make Outlaws, they are Outlaw's publishers, not developers. Even if they were, they clearly are aiming for a different genre here. You are not going to dedicate the same level of attention to stealth mechanics developing an open world adventure game with stealth sections, such as Outlaws, that you would dedicate developing a stealth game like Splinter Cell, or Metal Gear. As I said dumb comparison. It's like saying there is no point in playing MGSV because Red Dead Redemption has better horse mechanics...

being born in 2007 i never got to experience the original battlefront games and all they had to offer. and i cant run the OG Battlefront games on my Chromebook. So i never got to play the games, and i always wanted wanted to play Battlefront II and have a good play experience. When they announced the Classic collection i was overjoyed. Cause i could play on my Nintendo Switch. To make a long story short this was my first real experience to the OG Battlefront games. Me, and my younger brother play this game for hours. It is one of the best Star Wars games i have ever played. Now i can understand why adults don't like this game, because it isn't what they played as a kid. and the launch was buggy. But i personally loved the Battlefront Classic Collection.

As far as skeleton crew goes, yes no one necessarily asked for it, it is a nice change of pace. This seems to be the overall consensus from fans. In time I do believe it will turn out like Andor and receive the praise it's due.

I feel like after the Classic Collection released, the rest of the year was just set up to be bad. Although I personally enjoyed Star Wars outlaws, it isn't super good. I hope that Disney sees the sadness and desperation that the fans have and give us something good. I also hope that we will be gifted Star Wars Battlefront 3 in 2025, because that's literally what everyone wants.

Honestly…screw tales of the Empire. I don’t care how good Barris Offee’s story was. We got TWO stories and that is just…a waste. They could’ve done a story on the grand inquisitor. A story on how Darth Vader first meets Boba Fett, a story on Darth Vader after the events of Revenge of the Sith, a story on General Tarkin. And we get Barris Offee and Morgan Elsbeth a character that is uterrly broken and breaks the nightsisters. Like serious the decision to make Morgan Elsbeth a nightsister was so stupid. Because she lost her powers?? Are you kidding me? I don’t remember Asaj Ventress ever losing her powers or her skin turning normal. I don’t remember Merrin (From Jedi Order) turning normal or losing her powers. But no Morgan is special. Morgan is the one that matters. Even though, NO ONE CARES ABOUT HER!!

If skeleton crew is like andor then I have another reason not to watch it. Andor was so BORING!!!!! Almost every episode is just people standing in the same spot, talking or arguing. It's always "what's this?" "None of your business" "you're mean" "well you smell" I didn't like the look of skeleton crew how it all looks like a modern take. Speeder bikes look more like bikes, the normal looking houses. It didn't feel like Star wars among other things. It felt more alienated. Not as bad as the acolyte though, they didn't care about the fans at all and was made for one person
