Hey Ray, just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are. Not only in the field of drumming/music, but in life. You possess the qualities and mindset of a true hero. You are amongst the purest humans that walk this earth, and one day I will follow in those footsteps, and honor the gift of music that was placed in my heart. I hope you do more drum clinics, because I genuinely would be honored to physically experience you playing. Love your music Ray. Keep on letting your light shine.

Wow! What can I say but many thanks for the kind inspiring words Jake. I feel truly blessed to have music and drumming in my life and it's proof of the healing power of music. I'll be sure to let you know when my next drum clinics come up. Stay tuned and thanks again man!

Hello I read your modern drummer feature spot years ago and I’m sorry but then I forgot, fast forward my wife died ,my sister died, basically my whole family mom dad etc. and then I found you again via the Internet playing some insane fusion grooves and I felt bad for forgetting about you.I haven’t played the drums since 2019 and here it is 2022 and you are giving me inspiration. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there to inspire.

evwrybody already knows youre a great drummer, im impressed by the vocals on this. not to mention the songwriting itself. well done. reminiscent of 80s synth wave but much better written.

The way that it's easy and feels good to fall into a nice little groove on a drum kit, it kinda feels that same way sometimes to fall into a feeling melancholy. That reiterative and procedural journey through a loop until you've felt it all out, you know? This song gives me that same feeling, and somehow it helps me view my larger problems as just a series of smaller ones.
