For me, I used to worship the show House. The last episode of season 4... they use Re:stacks from this album. It will make anybody cry. Honestly there is just something about this song that makes me feel something else, I can't put it into words, maybe it's his voice, maybe the lyrics or purely the combination of both, it just hits. When I was around 16-21 I had a friend group that I would hang out with. We all knew each other in highschool. DId typical dumb teenager shit. Very long story short one of the guys moved away about 3 towns over. And we would pile over his house almost every weekend. I'd take the bus there cause I didn't have a car at the time. And id play this exact video on the bus on repeat. This song is etched in my mind. Everytime I listen to it it just makes me tear up. None of us kept in contact and we all separated.

Everything is agreeable, the chords are fairly simple and this song isn't complicated at all, but no despair? Bon Iver (Justin Vernon), delivers that sense of misery and despair in the greatest way an artist can.
