For me, I used to worship the show House. The last episode of season 4... they use Re:stacks from this album. It will make anybody cry. Honestly there is just something about this song that makes me feel something else, I can't put it into words, maybe it's his voice, maybe the lyrics or purely the combination of both, it just hits. I remember hearing it live in the UK and it made me so emotional to the point I teared up and bless my friends they just threw an arm around my shoulder and gave me a pat on the back and we all enjoyed the song together without a word being said. Everything is agreeable, the chords are fairly simple and this song isn't complicated at all, but no despair? Bon Iver (Justin Vernon), delivers that sense of misery and despair in the greatest way an artist can. I was trying to search for an album like For Emma Forever Ago for... forever, but never found something as unique and as magnificent.
