I was there aged 16 with a group of mates. Back then "friends were friends forever". We believed these lyrics summed up our friendship. Nearly 30 years on, one of the gang is no longer with us, and the rest of us have seen our lives take us away from each other. Oh to have that youthful optimism and unsullied confidence back, not to mention the tight-knit friendships.

Yep I was at this one. Was a fantastic concert. Skid Row were bloody awesome, Vixen got booed off the stage after trying to cover an AC/DC tune Bon Jovi, what can you say. Never seen them do a bad gig. Absolute pro's.

I was there. They were truly spectacular. The next time I saw them was at Wembley Stadium on the These Days tour in 95 (the gig that you can buy as a live video), sadly they were a shadow of their former selves and it felt like less like a band and more like a business going through the motions.

I was there aged 15!!!! On front next to stage! Went down with chicken pox a week or so later - I like to think I caught it off Richie Sambora!!!! Fab concert, red hot day. Wish I was 15 again!

A shame how the nineties began and this wonderful music and sound ceased to exist. As if you had entered another dimension. And Bon Jovi jumped into the rock car of the moment and it was not their thing. Even Jon cut his hair, looked different, dressed diferent, sang different, sounded different, nasal, stripped down, country, 21ist century boyish. Even looking like cybernetic Martians dressed in black with oakley glasses Sorry but no. Bon Jovi was this: Pop Metal at its best
