Mr. Big stuff should feel very lucky. Joe spared his life. Like Joe, I hate bullies as well. Mr Tall man trying to make Joe look like an amateur. Til the big man got knocked down a few inches.

I was wondering if Taggert let Joe win because he was so weary of the gunfighting and Fitz, and because he still loved Sally.

@@clauderobotham6261 no I don't think that's what happened. I watch that shooting scene over and over again and Joe was about 2 seconds faster than taggert. And because Joe wasn't about killing unless he had to. I think when Joe shot taggert in the arm and knocked his Target off balance. It was taggart walked away he was in a bit of shock

@@dennishardy3869 But it's interesting that Taggart apparently had the special holster with the spring, the same kind the blacksmith was trying to sell Joe. It just seemed to me that the scene with the blacksmith was in there for a reason. Maybe that holster is what gave Taggart an edge as a gunfighter and he could have outdrawn Joe with it if he really wanted.

@Willie Gordon...Ben wasn’t assuming that Lil Joey started it...he was trying to tell his “spoiled brat” son, NOT to go. I’m sure when they got home though, Ben told Lil Joey to go to his room and that he is GROUNDED for a couple of weeks!
