I love the ending of these Bonanza programs...This Guy's Father just got shot and killed by Adam after he had a big showdown with him and a few minutes later they are just wonderfully happy neighbors... hehehehehehe...its just too funny but I love watching Bonanza Episodes while I am kicking back and sucking on a few beers... :)

I miss all the Cartwright's, it would be nice if Hollywood would do another Bonanza TV show in 2022 with all A-List actors on the Ponderosa, that would be awsome.

None of the issues would be considered correct now. The treatment of Native Indians, Blacks, women, and even Hop Sing the cook...will all be historically inaccurate and will cause a lot of trouble if it was recreated this way again. The world has moved on.

They made it known that Adam courted the woman for 3 years and lost her to another man. How silly was that. I don't blame Adam for leaving this show. Adam is my favorite and I miss his presence on this show, but the writers were so messy and one-track thinking when it came to the progression of these boys lives.

@@whatsthebigfndeal maybe he was and maybe he wasn't I can't vouch for that either way, but while staying on topic; none of the boys lives progressed within 7 seven seasons, which says a lot about the producer and the writers. The Cartwrights are amazing characters, but the stagnation of the three sons is annoying and Roberts realized it.

@@misslucky5474 Oh, I'm sure he thought he was too good for whatever he was doing, that's not what I'm talking about. He was from my home town and he was not a nice person. He was the kind of guy who would curse and scream at 12 year old paperboys. I was one of them. He was pretty infamous in my town for being a jerk. His mom was actually a really nice lady but he was an asshole to everybody he encountered. He liked to complain about meals and cause a scene so he could get them for free and he was notorious for being really ugly to waitresses. I guess that's probably a normal thing in Hollywood but it isn't particularly common in my small, southern town so nobody here liked him.
