@@avisjohnson6185 that's a fact! I am so glad to hear intelligent men speaking like this! I'm glad there's a lot of us that at least know the truth about the true Chosen One. I mean how could you not see it?! It's all through the book. David's name is spoken of from the Book of Ruth all the way to the Book of Revelation. But I always challenge these heathens to show me anywhere in the entire Torah, Tanakh, or that Greek New Testament where the Creator speaks to this so-called Christ personally like he did with David. And all I ever get is a bunch of garbage! Trying their hardest to explain this mystery spook Messiah that they have made up in their minds. It's very refreshing to hear Brothers like you speak that truth. Spread that wisdom ahch!

The hole in the plot is they have no rifles to hunt game with. They eat stew, where did they get the meat? Traveling hundreds of miles, they would have to eventually need to hunt. Good story, except for that.

Maybe they have a few older rifles we just don't see/occasionally buy meat from farms/traders/general stores along the way. Alternatively they could set animal traps.

It kills me how these religious people forget that it was god who gave them a brain and the ability to reason for themselves-- and that reason allows them to think of ways to protect the sacred life that god gifted to them. Seems to me to allow that life to be taken without even trying to protect it flies in the face of god. Like all religion, it's only as good as the spin people put on it.

I swear, I don't know who is nosier, Adam Cartwright or The Rifleman. First Adam sticks his nose in a poker game and then with the guy being nice to the woman Cartwright is eyeball stalking. Then he invites himself to join the hoots, just to lust after the girl. Then he takes over the wagon train. I can't stand any of those Cartwright do-gooding busy bodies, other than Hoss. How did you get all this? We worked. Yeah, right. You Cartwrights just fenced off 2 million acres and claimed it.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
