If you have a double transfer tool, you can work the same technique for smaller bobbles. Experiment with the bobble placement for endless designs.

Will definitely have to practice this stitch. Good to hear a fresh voice doing tutorials for the Bond/USM/ISM. Thank you for a new creative stitch that can be done on the Bond/USM/ISM, and not just a metal bed knitting machine. I trust that you will do further tutorials for us Bond knitters. We are still out here and ready to put our machines to the best use!

My USM didn't come with a triple transfer tool. Where can I find one that works with the machine? Do the tools marketed for other brands of machines work with this one?
@sewingintrifocals-alisonde777811 ай бұрын
Hello, @ShotgunLlama. Kris Krafter sells some great multiple-stitch transfer tools on her website that are for 8 mm machines such as the Bond USM. I bought these tools-they’re lovely to use. (I have a Bond USM.)😇

HI how did you do the flower in the different colors? I guess you needed to choose which side is the right side and hide those ends?? Also, how did you get 8 ply yarn to work on the #1 keyplate? I can only use lighter yarns on the #1 keyplate.
@bondifiedknitter93195 жыл бұрын
Knitting Nana you can do different colours exactly how you’ve described 😄. Pick your front side and make sure the colour changes are on the wrong side. Note: you still have to obey the techniques for intarsia (wrap different coloured yarns around each other to close up the holes)

Regarding 8 ply yarns: very easy yarn to work with on the bond. I’ve never y had a problem. I’ve used 12 ply and even chunky (16 ply ) yarns on KP 1. I think weight helps and also how slippery the yarn is. It creates less resistance and the loops form easily. Ensure your KP is lubricated and sprayed lightly with silicone spray. I use WD40 (silicone version). Hope that helps.
