I just noticed that this sweater, minus the draw stings, is actually in the beginning of For Your Eyes Only. The commander of the boat that sinks in the beginning. "What the devil is going on here?" just before the ship is struck by the water mine. Same design, neckline, even has his white collar showing under it. I kind of prefer the older version of the sweater seen then.

David, A blue “wooly pully” would have been issued to the RAF or R Navy. Commando trained personnel generally wear a green “wooly pully” with the addition of the Army commando or Bde commando flash. The jumpers never came with the drawstrings and I remember having to thread a shoe lace through the collar to achieve this effect, at the start of my military career. The draw string was used to tighten up the collar to smarten up the look whilst wearing a GS or CS95 shirt underneath. I believe this type of jumper has been discounted and replaced by the ubiquitous MTP uniform solution. Love the review and channel, keep up the good work. James

Which is funny cuz I just bought this sweater and the collar and cuffs are not stretchy. Getting the sleeves on or off is literally like trying to slip out of handcuffs, like I literally have to forcefully get the cuff around my thumb first and then the rest of my hand. Same for getting your head in/out. There is nothing quick about it. Regardless, the sweater looks fantastic.

I agree with most others in this comments section that it looks back-to-front and the neckline also looks odd. It makes sense that the costume designers modified the neckline by having his braces cut it short at the ends. Looks great in the movie stills and on N Peal models but not here. I suspect most people won’t suit this idiosyncratic jumper. Also the toggles look bizarre.

The neck line is the unique part of this sweater along with its colour. The draw strings for me seems like you are wearing a hoodie but without a hood. I'm not sure how practical it is and I hope no one is ever going to tie a bow with it. The price point is not bad but I would wait for Dan to make one instead. I'm sure NPeal will make this in other colours later just like the solden TF jacket. Is not exactly wearable in the office but is great for trhw weekend,but is an expensive piece to wear for the weekend.

It seems that there is an important piece missing from the look. There is another clothing layer between the henley and the Npeal that looks like a charcoal-gray tshirt of some sort. Hello David. I love the box openings, always like Christmas at your home. The neckline on the sweater worn by Daniel Craig is not the same as the neckline of the sweater sent to you. The neckline on Craig’s sweater is much more square while the one sent to you is elliptical in shape. Furthermore, the shoulder pieces on Craig’s sweater are very differently applied with less fabric coming across the upper chest. Please follow up on this issue as I think the sweater as fabricated for the movie has a crisper and more tailored look. Thanks for another great clip. Mark

I used to wear a jumper as we call them in the UK exactly like that when I was a kid back in the 70s. It would have to only cost a few pounds. I bet you can still get thenm in army surplus stores. The amount this company is asking for is obscene.
@bartomiejjarosz53924 жыл бұрын
You’re right. But on the other hand it’s merino wool, blended with cashmere, so the quality is high for sure. It’s not some cheap acrylic jumper, but still you pay quite a hefty price for the brand. Having said that, the jumper looks great to me and I wish I had it.
@MartinIrwin4 жыл бұрын
@@bartomiejjarosz5392 sure, but we had wool jumpers back in the day. Not merino, but wool. IMO it‘s one thing having a spy wearing a suit in 2020, and another to have a tactical outfit costing this much-they really should be kitting out Bond with surplus type equipment. The brand association is getting a bit too high now. Watches are cars are one thing-but pullovers, c‘mon. Military personell wear rollnecks and jumpers all the time, made well, built to last, same with their boots. An outfit shouldn‘t cost a grand.

Managed to get one of these and my advice is don't go near it as there is excess material at the front at the chest area. Lovely material and perfect fit apart from the material at the front which bunches up. The fit is awful and you can even see this in David's video that the bunching occurs with both sizes small and medium. Mine was a large and did the same. Avoid until they correct this as this IS different from the one advertised which has shorter patches and no bunching. At £350 this has to be right and sadly this isn't.
