Nice display of clamps and clamping creativity. I’m quite sure your bonding will hold with the amount of prep work you did. Great job! Really enjoyed the video. Thanks.

That's a great project and looks like it's going to be awesome when you get done, not only is the 63 one of a kind but getting harder to find
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Geoffrey. They are getting hard to find and the rear clip was actually very nice on this car. So this one will really be nice when its done.

Wow this is facinating. I'm terrified of working with fiberglass.

Thanks for watching Brian! I’m excited to see the 63 and 67 roughed in and heading back home to become cars again.

Great work Mitch. Nice to see it coming together. So very informative to see your work. The video shows things you just don’t see. Your knowledge from the hands on experience you’ve had is priceless. 👍🏼🍀

Great work, Mitch! I'm always amazed at how perfectly you convert some one else's fiberglass scraps into your own personal masterpieces.... This one is no different, maybe your best "rags to riches" story yet... Might need to name this girl, "Cinderella!" Great video.... again!!!

Thanks Dr Lee! This one was fun. I am very proud with how the car came out. It is much much nicer than the misfit and it is well on its way to becoming a true Cinderella.

Hey there Mitch, This video is really cool. I love how it's coming together! Oh, and you proved a few theorems ... 1. You can never have to many clamps. 2. When you're 90% done, half the job awaits. Take care, Dan
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dan! Yes you can never have too many clamps. When you think that you have too many that means you need more! That last 10% takes forever but it is totally worth it in the end.

Way to go Mitch. You have a lot of patience moving camera's around to make these videos.
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Eric! It definitely adds a considerable bit of time to the projects. You wouldn’t think it does but it takes time to get the shots lined up and make sure everything is always charged. Most of the time they aren’t lol.

That video was the best! I really like this part of the build. I was going to ask how much time you were given to reposition parts, glad you mentioned it. Hey you are knocking on the door of having 4K subscribers. That was quick. It's looking really good Mitch, can't wait to see the next one. Be safe and have fun. Good job!

Thanks Jim! 4K subscribers came pretty quick. Now on I'm in the hunt for 5K.

Is it possible to build a body from new replica parts? If so I would love to see a complete body assembly done step by step. I would even pay to see the series. You are awesome but the fast pace and need for a quick video leaves out all of the details and tips

Mike, can you put some detail into installing the passenger side Fresh Air Plenum? I am preparing to install an AC Plenum into my 67 that I installed Factory Air into many years ago. I will most likely cut thru the Firewall to install. Much Thanks, Al W.
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Ummm it's Mitch lol. Sorry I had plenums ordered but they have been backordered and the cars went home. I will probably leave them off so they can position them exactly where they need to be when they install the front clip. I suggest that you check out the Corvette forum for tips on that. Best of luck!
