Those animals have space, enrichment and food.

@@kpp28 I'd hope that most people know there's not just one person/sanctuary per country, county, state or town. Highlighting one sanctuary just helps the word to begin to spread amongst people that don't necessarily know about the cause. At the end of the day, we're all trying to give animals the best chance at life and we're working towards the same goal. We should first and foremost support one another in the very important cause

This is so sad. The fact that they need a wildlife sanctuary, that but is heart breaking. I know everyone there is doing there best. But what made me the saddest, was seeing one of the elephants swaying. This is a sign of stress, or lack of space and stimulation. But, this sanctuary is MUCH better than working for an elephant. I admire Chris, and all the people who made/make this organization possible.💕

This whole episode both broke my heart- for the poor animals, and also made me cry tears of joy and pride- for all of the good people who are volunteering their time and services to help these poor animals!!! It's just amazing at how both cruel and evil, and than kind and generous people can truly be. God Bless you all for your time and efforts in trying to make the world a better place, and for selflessly helping the animals! (especially by not treating the place like a zoo, where yes they would get donations, but the animals would just be exploited all over again!)😭😍

If we could just get people to quit destroying habitats and stop getting exotic animals for pets these beautiful creatures could live in peace in the environments God made for them. Then we would only need these centers for those that really need help to be returned back to the wild. Thanks for all you do.❤️

That's so sad there are not very many elephants in the wild in Thailand anymore. It breaks my heart seeing these animals in captivity when they should be in the wild! That poor elephant with the absess, that's horrible how badly they get treated. Ppl treat them like crap and feed them and then wonder why the animals attack or why they are in populated areas causing trouble, geeze!! Let them be wild animals and look at them from a distance, that's the best way to see animals is in their own habitat!! I really liked this episode, thanks for sharing!!!!!

April Chamberlain: I totally agree with your statements here! Don't you just LOVE how people are shocked when their "pets" strike back......Only sad thing is that the humans involved usually end up killing the animal. But at least the animal got the last say......

It is wonderful being taken to this safe place for wildlife in need. Seeing the animals and those dedicated people that care for them is heartwarming.

I am so glad that there are people out there like Edwin, Scott and various others who not only protect and help the domestic animals but also the wild ones. I would love to one day go over to Thailand and spend a few weeks volunteering my time as well seeing the country itself. While African elephants are beautiful I have always loved the Asian elephants for the freckling on their heads and faces.

If I could change anything in my life, I would definitely become a veterinarian for sure. One thing I would have done differently would be to stay in school and strive to become something really great and for me, that would include taking care of all creatures great and small. If only........😔😟💫

It's never too late! If you want to become a vet and have the means, please go for it! We need more kind and caring people like you looking out for and caring for the welfare of this world's animals. I'm sure you would make an incredible vet!

If you don't have money for school, animal shelters and zoo's are always looking for help. I do volunteer work at an animal shelter and it's honestly some of the most fun I've had. It's sad seeing the animals in cages, but when you have a very shy dog that wants nothing more than to lie down and sleep and you finally get him to get up and play is so beautiful.
