In this video, James of Bond with James talks about tips for setting up student science interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks, INBs (or interactive journals, ISNs), are a great teaching strategy to employ in order to have students take notes and keep a record of all of their work. Students interact with their notes - graphic foldables or graphic organizers - to demonstrate their understanding of the content. While James talks about the left-side / right-side method to science interactive notebooks, he always recommends that you use a style of interactive notebook that works for you.
While this video displays a science interactive notebook ideas, the tips are applicable to all levels and content areas. Hopefully, these interactive notebook tips and tricks will help you take your student interactive notebooks to the next level!
