Writing and stuff aside, Jimmy really is a tragic character. Dude was loved by the community, made sure to keep drugs out, and loved those closest to himself, and was betrayed by his closest dude. Of the 5 that died, only 2 were spared getting put into the hell wall. Shotgun was ultimately forgiven, and his girl killed herself to save the others.
@devontehuntley6274
@devontehuntley6274 2 жыл бұрын
He still killed Shotgun though. I think Shotgun screwed up by shooting him multiple times, which lead to Jimmy killing him, but Jimmy also killed him partially to relieve him from living in misery any further. Pearl dying was pathetic. She did not have to kill herself. All she had to do was take the dress off and burn that up, not burn herself in the dress.

I always loved the fact that he was legitimately morally ambiguous. Taking the universal monsters who were just as much victims as they were monsters. And mixing it with the Balxploitation aesthetic.

Jimmy Bones was running numbers as he was the neighboorhood protector spreading love and happiness in the community. By doing that the neighboorhood was bright, happy, vibrant, and positive. I definitely and completely feel remorse and empathy for Jimmy as I totally sympathize and understand his anger as he was robbed out of his life. The scene when Jimmy is betrayed and brutally murder due to his refusal to sell drugs in the neighboorhood is one of the most saddest and heartbreaking scene in the whole entire movie as my heart aches for Jimmy. 🥺😔😭 What makes it that is that Jimmy was a good person such as making sure his community and his people we're safe and okay as he really loved and cared doing it. When Jimmy said " Those fools they my people" I felt that in my heart as he knows what's good for them. 😍😎💯👍 It is a scene in the movie when he's walking in the neighboorhood and he is remembering how great it was. It's just so heartbreaking and sad because it shows how the neighboorhood went to hell as drugs and crime overcome it through all those 20 years Jimmy was dead as the citizens really depended on Jimmy. 🥺😞😭 For the past 20 years Jimmy's spirit became angry with the intention of getting revenge as he did not have a peaceful death. Wacthing Jimmy getting his revenge on them was so satisfying as they all betrayed and brutally murder him out of jealousy and resentment as they do not have no remorse or regret for over 20 years. It just a smirk on my face as these evil individual's got for what they deserved. 😏😈

@@devontehuntley6274 Shotgun was forced to stab Jimmy. He ended up taking the coward way out such as betraying and brutally murder him. He felt guilty about it for 20 years he became a alcoholic to drown his guilt. When Jimmy confronts him he said "You could have died with me or die trying" which indicates he didn't put too much of a effort to avoid betraying and brutally murdering him. Jimmy gave him a less harsher fate compare to Jeremiah, Eddie Mack, and Lupovicth definitely deserve their fates for betraying and brutally murdering him out of jealousy and resentment. Pearl made a choice to die with Jimmy but Jimmy uses his last strength to protect her because he loved her. Pearl set the dress on fire because she wanted to die regardless as she was grieving Jimmy's death for over 20 years as she and Jimmy finally reunited as she did not want to go through again.

It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The tone and element was scary, creepy, spooky, eerie, dark, gritty, urban, and gothic which works perfectly for the movie. Snoop Dogg did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Jimmy Bones as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. Sure it got negative reviews but I honestly thought it was pretty good. I actually thought this movie was really good and a profound tragedy. Snoop's Character was a numbers runner not a pimp and he protected the community from people trying to bring hard drugs into the neighborhood... until finally the drug pushers over came him by using someone close to him to betray him. Making Snoop not only lose his community that he loved but also the love of his life who he sacrificed his life for. The movie is really an excellent tale of revenge and a good example of how a good neighborhood can be brought to its knees because of hard drugs.

Bones is one of those movies you root for the main character instead of the sub-character's to win. It also teaches you about revenge and redemption and how your actions and your past comes right back to haunt you as that was Ernest Dickerson purpose and interpretation of the story which work's perfectly for the movie which made it special and unique. 😍😎👍💯 Jeremiah, Eddie Mack, and Lupovicth did Jimmy dirty. What makes it that is that Jimmy was a good person such as being the neighboorhood protector spreading love and happiness in the community. By doing that the neighboorhood was bright, happy, vibrant, and positive. After his death the neighboorhood went to hell as drugs and crime overcome it. The scene when Jimmy is betrayed and brutally murder is one of the most saddest and heartbreaking scene in the whole entire movie as my heart aches for Jimmy. 🥺😔😭 When I first saw it I had my mouth open in shock. For the past 20 years Jimmy's spirit became angry with the intention of getting revenge as he did not have a peaceful death. Wacthing Jimmy getting his revenge on them was so satisfying as they all betrayed and brutally murder him out of jealousy and resentment as they do not have no remorse or regret for over 20 years. It just put a smirk on my face as these evil individual's got for they deserved. 😏😈

It definitely and completely traumatized me when I first watch it as it had me thinking "What in the world am I'm watching?" 😅😱😰 I love Bones. It's a guilty pleasure for me. 😏 To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍💯😎👍

Jimmy Bones was running numbers as he was the neighborhood protector spreading love and happiness in the community. By doing that the neighborhood was bright, happy, positive, and vibrant. 😍💯👍😎 I definitely and completely feel remorse and empathy for Jimmy as I totally sympathize and understand his anger as he was robbed out of his life. The scene when Jimmy is betrayed and brutally murder is one of the most heartbreaking and saddest scene in the whole entire movie as my heart aches for Jimmy 😭🥺😞. What makes it that is that Jimmy was a good person such as making sure his community and his people we're safe and okay as he really loved and cared doing it. When Jimmy said "Those fools they my people" I felt that in my heart as he knows what's good for them.😍💯👍😎 It is a scene in the movie when he's walking in the neighborhood and he is remembering how great it was. It's so heartbreaking and sad because it shows how the neighborhood went to hell as drugs and crime overcome it as the citizens really depended on Jimmy through all those 20 years he was dead. 🥺😭😞 It's also relatable, insightful, and articulate because you have certain places in life that have special childhood memories and moments but unfortunately it takes a downfall as it's full with hatred, flith, and greed. 🥺😭😞 For the past 20 years Jimmy's spirit became angry with the intention of getting revenge as he did not have a peaceful death. Watching Jimmy getting his revenge on them was so satisfying as they all betrayed and brutally murder him out of jealousy and resentment as they do not have no remorse or regret for over 20 years as their past is coming right back to haunt them all. It just put a smirk on my face and fills me with satisfaction as these evil individual's got for what they deserved. 😏😈
