*"But did you notice something, Charlie Brown? The world didn't come to an end."* One of the hardest lines to be said in any Peanuts special or movie.

That wasn't even the worst part. Man when Lucy had her girls dancing around Charlie singing "failure face" damn that was brutal. Definitely couldn't make this today.

I always liked the sub plot of Linus looking all over NY to find his blanket, only for Charlie Brown to have it the whole time. I always found Linus' reaction funny

It also had one of my favorite sequences in animation and music, when Snoopy decided to ice skate at Rockefeller Center.

I remember when Charlie Brown was sleep deprived and had to put up with Linus acting like a crackhead regarding that blanket of his.

Really happy their talking about this one again, it’s one of my favorite movies. The last time Korey talked about it was in 2014 during The Peanuts Movie review, but he got cut off because Billy showed up utterly trashed and got kicked off the show for a bit lmao. Been waiting for him to circle back around to it

Yup. I'd say Snoopy, Come Home only served the purpose to be a depraved emotional snuff film.

A Boy Named Charlie Brown was the very first Peanuts movie. Late 60's. Fantastic movie. Great music. Very emotional to watch. Snoopy Came Home was even harder to watch. I guess this is why my favorite Peanuts movie is Race For Your Life Charlie Brown because it's more fun.

Back in the 80s my dad recorded this off the TV, and I watched it so much as a kid that as an adult I still have it memorized. The songs are embedded in my brain, the I before E song helped me so much in school

Linus is my favourite Peanut character, I was drawn to him because I sucked my thumb as a toddler, I had a comforter, but as I got older I realised I was not cool enough to be Linus, because he would be a solid friend in a time of crisis, he could defend himself and not be swayed from his blanket and he also used if as a weapon. I could never use my former comforter as a weapon.😊

I loved, LOVED this movie, even to this day from how it had that interesting balance of fun, funny, thoughtful, it's a near perfect film for the Peanuts catalog of what they've done. While not fully possible, I'd love to see a classic/retro review of this movie, this still holds up so well.

Turns out this film had two deleted scenes that were lost media for a long time, but were found very recently. First scene was an alternate version of the song Failure Face with a very trippy visualization of the song. Second scene was Linus' daydream/hallucination while sitting on the bus with Snoopy about his lost blanket with some more trippy scenes like Linus as a mermaid and some kind of ostrich with Snoopy riding on his back. I guess the team didn't think the film needed any scene that felt similar to something out of The Yellow Submarine. Although I wouldn't mind if they brought back that daydream scene because the way they edit it out of the film looked very clumsy because they kept in the beginning and the end of the deleted scene which made it look like their was clearly something suppose to be playing there, but was cut. Either have the scene in the film or make sure to keep any part connected to that deleted scene out of the film so it doesn't look confusing.

Older now and you guys made me tear up again. This why I love you guys cause I’m 47 so I relate to things like this that you rebview. Love Charlie Brown and now getting my son into it.

Charlie Brown was always a show that never really had good endings with the exception of one...and even that one couldn't just stay nice. 😅 But, it's weird that as a kid, i anyways felt bad for Charlie Brown, but now as an adult I see that he really went through it. Seriously, that boy never caught a break.

If I'm not mistaken, Charlie is basically the original creator. He had a pretty rough life before making peanuts. Guess that includes not winning a spelling bee.

They can still show Charlie Brown today. They have a new cartoon with the black boy, who they treated wrong on Thanksgiving They rather sit next to the stinky boy, than the black kid. Charlie Brown and Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh were always depress and sad. Never knew why Eeyore was depress. What is sad there are Charlie Brown's in the real world Can't catch a break in life.
