Bones of the upper extremity

I made a mistake towards the end when I said 54 bones in each hand! It’s 27 in each hand. That’s what happens when I impromptu & teach from memory 😆
The shoulder girdle is formed by the Scapula & Clavicle. 1 on each side.
2 humerus
2 Radius
2 Ulna
8 carpals in each hand = 16
5 metacarpals in each hand =10
14 phalanges in each hand = 28
So 27 in each each = 54 in both hands!

I use different chart , the heart for me is under the big toe , but there are lots of charts . for the technics I also use different ones ,I started the viet Dien Chan , the foot and hand . As i alwys want to learn more I see Different schools british ,israelies , south africa ... and that way I mix the methods depending the client . A tip if your thumb hurt use the knuckle or tools 🤗

Well it is difficult to know what it is without a medical history. Is it at C7 level? Age & posture could have something to do with it. Do you have scoliosis or kyphosis? Too many variables to know. Have you seen a doctor for a diagnosis?

I’m sorry for the late reply! I would have your client ask the dr. To make sure it’s ok in their case. I have no medical history (age, recent surgery, other medical conditions etc) on the client so I can’t answer that. If the client is completely healed I would say the dr will say yes. I’ve worked on clients with stints before just make sure they ask the dr for the ok
