Had a fab day at Bo'ness watching the Diesel Special on the 29th of December 2021,The weather was lousy early in the morning but perked early in the afternoon ,There was 27001,37403,37703,66773 and 47463 that was a successful day out ,Well done to the fab volunteers,All the best for the new year 🥳🌟🎉and also the Black bun special was also a great day the next day ❤️

Didn't even know this was here at Boness, that has been my most favourite loco ever, those colours/combo, shape and sound are just unmatched by anything these days, 37's are my childhood growing up, thanks for sharing btw, would love to pop over one time to hear this beast starting up, never heard a cold start from one before, would be amazing to see/hear to tick that off the bucket list 👌

The power unit in the Class 37 is an English Electric 12 CSVT ( twelve pistons in Vee form). Output is 1750 BHP ( 1305 KW). Hope this helps and thanks for commenting.
