Well, it looks like the guys have gone mega big into Thomas at Bo'ness. Thanks to the class 26 having two high intensity lights looking like eyes added above the central disc indicator, the shadow on the bottom of the disc indicator replicates a beautiful face on the loco! The lads at Bo'ness have done a cracking restoration on the unit. I bet they'd love to get their hands on the HSTs and do them up!

It would be great to get some HST power cars and stock at Bo'ness. Thanks for your comment on the Class 26 Bill.

@BONESS27001 I am sure there's a set languishing somewhere. Have you tried Neville Hill, Burton or Long Marston? It would be interesting to see a set in LNER apple green on the two power cars and Faux Teak finish on the coaches. Showing up the fake LNER by how to do it! Or an even better novel LNER Silver and run it as the Silver Jubilee set to rival the Blue Pullman. I don't think anyone has painted an A4 Silver in Preservation.

Do the HST cars now have buffers on the inside as they would usually need a barrier vehicle to protect them when not hauling a fixed rake of coaches?

The HST power cars are coupled to the Mark 1 coaches via the Buckeye auto coupler. Thanks for your comment.

With no through connection the leading power car would be hauling the coaches on its own?

The HST power cars are coupled to the Mark 1 coaches via the Buckeye/ autocoupler. The power cars are running as top and tail locos with the rear loco dead and having an external tail lamp attached. Thanks for your comment Peter.
