I recently did my pilgrimage to the bon scott statue with my good friend and his son great work the best front man ov all time let there be rock.... this is one statue they want be taking down RIP bon Scott

Wonderfully put together, extremely respectful. Bon Scott was, is sorely missed. For the band immediately became a caricature of itself, after Bon CLEARLY wrote most of Back in Black. Angus, on the sly, acknowledging inasmuch long after Bon’s folks passed, the past 5 or so years in an interview. Almost overnight the band becoming but another arena rock, fist pumping poser fanbase, eating up the not so clever, nor coy lyrics Bon was renown for writing, belting out. Rock in Paradise, Bon.

Excellent , I went too school with Bons cousins step kids and got too meet his mum in Freo best singer ever , & now there is statue his grave stone won't be stolen anymore from Fremantle cemetery went too Freo 3 times too pay my respects and every time some low wanker had stolen it .

Idk about the “Aussie” part of it, but Angus has always come off as the most typical guy... ever. You seem him being a demon on stage, then in interviews he is so boring and just mumbles short replies inaudibly. Part of me was very disappointed to see how regular he is off stage lol.

Bon was proud of both his Scottish and Australian heritage, that's why he statues in both Kirriemuir and Freemantle. There aren't any other rock stars that have statues on opposite sides of the planet. And no arguments here about him being a legend!

You do know that the nickname Bon came from "Scotland Forever"? And indeed Bon had that tattooed on his arm? Bon's first instrument were the drums in the Freemantle Scottish pipe band, and you might have heard of a little song called Long Way to the Top that he played bagpipes on? :) Bon was very proud of his Scottish roots. Yes he was Aussie though and through, but his heart was always in Scotland too.
