When I was in my early teens, many long years ago, my Grandmother came from Winnipeg to spend Christmas with us. My Dad (it was his mother) begged his Mum to make snowballs. It was so funny to me to see my Dad a big strong adult begging his Mum for cookies. I never forgot it. And then one day I came home to find the kitchen table covered in snowballs and Gran whacking my Dad with a wooden spoon for sneaking one. Lovely memories.

I am assuming it should be refrigerated during the 2 hour cooling time. Is this correct?

Trevor Eastman, yes put them in your refrigerator for the two hours until cool and then you will be able to roll them easily. Thanks for your message. Bonita

Lisa Letto Thank you for your message and for visiting my channel, sorry about that. When you take the mixture out of the fridge it is hard and you are able to roll them in your hands and then in the coconut. But the stage after its cooked is a little pasty and sticky, that's why you need to put the mixture in the fridge to set. I hope that helps and sorry we didn't have that shot. Bonita
